ETA: Make sure she gets a look at the electricity bills. Eye watering doesn't even begin to describe them with the ridiculous heating systems they have.

Correct! BrewYork brewery and tap. Excellent venue,we had spent the day drinking in York,starting with the House of Trembling Madness and it was a slippery slope thereafter.
BrewYork was one of the last establishments visited!

No pics I'm afraid but I visited again on Saturday just gone for their summer bash, really good few hours spent sampling beers and enjoying a bit of live music and some street food. The guys who run the place deserve every success.
