One of my favourite channels, I can't explain why.https://youtu.be/h_FnnOXrLIs
It’s captivating stuff, just like these big shredders which can eat entire cars effortlessly.

True cost of US healthcare shocks the British public
Cost of an ambulance was crazy, I hear the cost of getting the samples for corona virus for being tested is 6k.

This video's title is coded to show the number of views, the video itself is about old Web 2.0 coding stuff like Yahoo Pipes that doesn't work anymore https://youtu.be/BxV14h0kFs0
Another Tom Scott video about 'expletive infixation', putting a curse or swear word in the middle of another word - abso-bloody-lutely. I didn't know of Tom Scott before these, but I'm subscribed now.https://youtu.be/dt22yWYX64w

My wife ended up paying $1600 by the ambulance firm when she got hit by a car (the police decided not to cite the driver or take her details) so we were out of pocket for that, plus a few hundred $ for the ER visit as majorty was covered by ins. True cost of US healthcare shocks the British public

For covid in most cases it should be near zero cost if you have insurance under the current government plans.
If you get taken into hospital for subsequent treatment is where you can get screwed, with insurance you could be up to $20k out of pocket, but average out of pocket is around $1.5k.
If you don't have insurance or if someone not on your insurance providers approved list gets involved (or the testing lab is not on your insurers network) then you can get royally screwed - medical debt is the leading cause of bankrupcy in the US. You have to pray you don't ever get into an accident or become unconsious and taken to the wrong hospital.
Health care is pretty savage over here...

I was in two minds on whether to post a personal video but the wife and I had a go at our own (very) amateur lock-down song -she's no Susan Boyle but it came out ok and might give a few people a laugh...(particularly anyone home-schooling!)
