Liebherr - At icy heights
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQBlbpCrr_w

Four tower cranes were in continuous operation during the construction of Europe’s tallest building, the Lakhta Tower. At dizzying elevations, a Liebherr service technician made sure that everything ran smoothly, even in extreme weather conditions.

FcensoredK. THAT. eek

Some people are just built different, aren't they...?
Perhaps the best-looking skyscraper or whatever they call these things now?
Given the choice, would you rather go up there? Or, pot holing?
As a job? Up.

I've been caving before, and enjoyed it, but potholing is a different kettle of fish altogether, and wouldn't want to do that as a job - if that's what you're asking.

Up there, all day long. Would be fantastic.

Potholing, nope. Not ever.

Up there. I'm st scared of heights but would hate to be trapped down there in a slow death.
Like this you mean?

I know there are a few boat nerds like me here, this couple are building a "flat pack" catamaran in glass fiber.

This is one of the channels that I subscribe to and it should be a very interesting build. They previously renovated an aluminium boat and sailed it to the Arctic circle. I love watching things come together (much like watching other folk work) - fascinating! wink

I've not caught up with the thread so this may have been posted. Gordon Murrey and Cosworths new engine on the dyno.

Bit hammy but worth it for V12 noises, I'd go to Le Mans just to hear it.

In 1963, Britain was onto a Transport revolution. New motorways and bridges which spanned rivers and canals. Compared to the rest of Europe, Britain were late starters, but today 1000 miles of Motorways were either built or planned and part of a £100 million a year program needed to keep up with a hurrying world. By 1970 it was forecast that the number of cars would have doubled to some 13 million and by 1980 between 16 and 18 million

Similar thing happened to Neil Moss in the Peak Cavern back in the 50's

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neil_Moss_(caver)

I used to do a bit of caving back in the day, including some exploring for new passages and it always felt like a good idea to think of poor Neil still stuck in Peak Cavern whenever pushing in tight spaces. It would not be a nice way to go.

That is literally a 45 minute video of a girl driving a tractor where you can see down her top a bit, and it has over 8 million views!!!
