in the Men's 100 metres sprint, more people didn't come 1st than the guy who came 1st, so therefore the guy who came 1st shouldn't have won. silly

The fact that the last time I had a parcel delivered by a certain company the e-mail giving me its ETA arrived 3 hours after the parcel means that I don't know to expect another delivery today or tomorrow frown

As we're on a Colchester theme, the football team annoys me beyond reason, haven't won a match in ages,

meaning I haven't travelled to a home match in ages either.

And TBH ,I can't be bothered to go to an away match close to home either.

Sky do seem to have a habit of putting good stuff on at the same time frown
But I don't think that you can't record something when its invariably repeated,at 2am or whenever

Oh gosh, I do hope that in this advert for Greek style yoghurt that Nicole Scherzinger doesn't end up getting any on her nose like last time.

Oh, she has. Clumsy cow.

All the bks hype lately about the John Lewis Christmas advert. Blatant commercial, sentimental bullst that everybody is now buying into for what is, at best, a very 'vanilla' department store.

Yes. It's become a "thing" definitely now.

My wife for one!

We've got Virgin instead of Sky, and our 'box' has three tuners. Which means it can record up to three channels simultaneously. Which is great...

...unless of course all three tuners are recording the guff that she so loves to watch on 'series link'. Whereupon you cannot change the channel to watch something else completely. Worse still, I've not yet worked out how to switch between the three channels being recorded to find the "least worst option".

Grrrrrrr! rage

Telly off, and breeeeeeeeeathe! wink

There is a real obsession these days with 'binge watching' umpteen episodes of the latest series of whatever.
I don't know where people find the time confused

7 million quid on this crap. Sorry it may be just me but I would rather that money was used for discounting the costs of the goods.

Renault Cup holders...
Do you know how hard it is to remove a freshly opened, 473ml, can of RedBull from a footwell whilst driving?

Damn you Renault and your shallow cup holders.

How much discount would you get if they shared out that £7 million across every product, every customer?

Begs the question...

"Why are you drinking Red Bull (or anything really) whilst driving?"

- or possibly -

"Why would anyone with his/her taste buds still intact be drinking Red Bull at all?"

confused
