Not sure I've seen a x100 one. Aren't they all x1000?

Nope. Hence the annoyance. My S211 E Class has x100. It goes 10, 20, 30 etc round the dial. My Mazda 6 has a correct display - 1, 2, 3.....

You think that's bad - my TVR Sagaris has speed x10, with a top speed of 20. biggrin

It also has a rev counter that rotates backwards (ie. sweeps anti-clockwise rather than clockwise). silly

When a checkout person at the supermarket asks "Do you have a <loyalty card> at all?"

I have to bite my lip from replying "Only a little bit".
Point of grammar order! 'Only a little bit' would not be ironic/amusing etc when replying to 'at all'. (perhaps without the 'at'.)

Yeah but does your Mazda 6, like mine, have l/100ml instead of MPG? I keep seeing a high number and thinking it's a good thing.

A certain person I deal with on the phone has a habit of saying "Yourself" all the time.
As in:

Would yourself like us to carry out that work?

Bloke seems intelligent enough so I can't imagine how he got into this idiotic habit.

Yes. Gah. You're right. It's awful. I do see a dreadfully high number usually. I try to ignore it.

Do they also say "thanking you" instead of "thank you", because that one annoys me beyond reason too. smile

Wasting £75,000 of public money installing dangerous and totally unneeded ‘Traffic Calming’ chicanes and road narrowing.

£75 K - \pah................small change indeed.

Durham went all out installing an 'improved' roundabout with traffic lights. A cool 2.5 million. Not a lot better after all the traffic nightmares over the last 2 years.

This is a strange affliction of car sales folk.

Weird.

I'm one of those weirdo's who cant stand other peoples eating noises but I know to just tolerate it as its my problem not theirs.

However, I have a colleague who whenever they make themselves a brew they sit down and immediately start slurping it and making 'ahh' noises as its too hot to drink. Its literally just come out of the fking kettle and they're surprised at the fact that the beverage they've just made is hotter than the sun! Tit!

Have another kitchen related woe.

Those peel off plastic film things that never peel off properly. Leaving you hacking into it as if it was never a peel off in the first place. Found on ready meals and the like.
