Around the corner from me an owner of a Lexus is200 got into a low speed accident. Bumper, left light and left tire damaged. Even more odd is that the car has been there on the main road for 3 days now. It blocks off half the road meaning the vehicles blocked on that side have to give way. The council slapped a sticker on it but that's it. Hasn't been clamped or anything. Very odd

There was discussion in a GG thread on this some months ago.

Golf left in a ditch off DC A21 for weeks.

Golf crashed into a tree in Carshalton ,left in road with wheel mangled for a few days.

Corsa on the new section of A12 in East London,in layby ,facing wrong way,OSF wheel torn off.

List goes on.

Should I immerse myself in 17th Century German Literature or trim the hedge?

Decisions. Always decisions.

My inabilities with languages have persuaded me to opt for gardening.

3 weeks for us.........

Daughter off to Brownie camp next week though. It will be strange not having her looning around the house for a week!

Took me 5 hours to get from Hertfordshire to Deal in Kent yesterday.......... Thank you to the French Government for your new, though sadly needed security checks. Thank you UK Government for not telling us they were being implemented & thank you Highways Agency for Zero information on traffic conditions!

Grub bought for a great Sunday lunch (tonight), loads of sport to watch, plenty of nice wine to drink, and more importantly the day off tomorrow, happy days

I read it as almost a criticism of your pics. He was bound to have a phone with him at least. Why not take some pics and post them himself if that's what he thinks we should all be interested in?

There were only a handful built IIRC. Wasn't it a visit by the Queen that made the French realise they didn't produce a car suitable for a visiting Head of State and that brought it about? Something like that. I'll have a read up.

As if the still dismantled Meteor engine wasn't enough of "useless man toy", I've now been offered second refusal on the cockpit section (i.e. front 10 feet) of a Sea King helicopter when the current owner finishes renovating it for sale next year. I'm seriously considering it too.....

I think I need an intervention....

Is he playing psycho-wossname with wossisname? Subtly, I mean. At the end of last season, with the championship in the bag for Hamilton, Rosberg starts to win. This afternoon, Hamilton radios a lack of power but still Rosberg can't catch him.

Just a feeling.

F1? Didn't see it. Might catch up later.

However, I am very much looking forward to Robot Wars later on tonight, 8pm BBC2. It's going to be amazing.
