What Don't You Like About The Forums?
Discussion
The good things about the threads are pretty obvious: the amazing sources of help from knowledgeable posters; the posts that make you laugh; the posts that make you cry; the camaraderie (sometimes); the opportunity to learn and so on. But what don't you like?
I'll start with two.
- The posters who read the OP and nothing else, and then pile in with their opinion which has - almost certainly - already been offered. I know some of the long threads won't necessarily be read completely, but at least try and get a gist of what's been going on. If you repeated other previous comments in a pub conversation everyone would think you're a dick, so why do it here?
- The posters who post simply to say that the thread is distasteful or boring or whatever. If it doesn't appeal, just ignore it. To stick with the pub example, if you broke in to a group and told them that you thought the conversation was st, everyone would think you're a dick, so why do it here?
What have I missed?

Repetitiveness and untidiness. People who just CBA to look up a subject which gets done over and over again and either read it, or just add to the end of that thread. This is closely followed by the people who have so little going on in their lives that they just reply to the repetitive thread regardless.
People who start threads and don't return to them.
People who start threads with something akin to "Can you come and wipe my bottom for me? I just can't be bothered."
There has recently been a thread started on how to clean moss from a car ffs.
Ok for starters?

The fact that people with no experience or expertise can drown out an actual expert posting useful stuff.
I've seen quite a few leave now, and the forums are poorer for it.
May be you shouldn't be able to post a reply without stating your age, experience, and political leanings

The awful mobile site, you go to reply. It zooms in it zooms out and then it crashes.
It always confirms form submission and posts your reply 3 times.
The people on it. We should just have a we hate progress section where they can wk each other off about how they hate finance, the golf R, Haladex, 4 pots, 4 exhausts. Audis. Led brake lights, hids, anything since the 1950s fashion wise, all moderated by a M135i junior supercar driver.
Also, how much paid for advertising is by vag then is slagged off 2 seconds later
