That's the one :-) ! Thank you !!!
You must have been searching too hard (we all do it!), that was the second result when I googled "MTG 4th editions rules" smile
Ok- so having "recovered" my old MTG cards from my parents house- (there were than I remember - probably c1,000, and following a friend of mine saying "you probably want to check the values of the card before letting your 5 year old lose on them".. I spent a little time trying to look up the card values..

Holy molly, I hadn't quite appreciated what had happened to the marker for MTG cards - particularly the older ones from '93/'94...

Turns out I have mixture of 2nd edition "Unlimited" edition, 3rd edition, "Revised", "4th Edition", "Antiquities", "Arabian Nights", "Ice Age", "Dark", "Mirage", "Legends", plus some Fallen Empires/Homelands (which appear to be worth sweet FA)

Whilst the majority are on the order of $0.20-$0.25 value a decent number are in double $ figures values, and some significantly into treble $ values.. !!
The whole lot must be (theoretically) worth well into 4 figures...

Not quite sure what to do now. Not sure I can bothered with the hassle of selling them (I had them for nigh on 30 years already), but neither do I feel "that" comfortable playing with them- now I know what they are worth..

Anyone else found they are sitting on an expected treasure trove of cards?

There's places like Troll Trader that will assess and buy in bulk - you won't get top money but you won't get the hassle either. If you're not into collecting and the rare stuff then you could buy a bunch of current MTG or similar to play with your kids and still have a nice little windfall.
