My facebook (Clearly therefore I am council etc...) is split about 70/30 in favor of remain.

Of the 30% exiters, they are pretty much all small minded, working class council types. All are seen complaining about their benefits, immigration and making britain great again.
Vote exit and make Britain great again, said a lot of people that have never done a day's work.

For some reason I found that much funnier that it really was.

Probably says more about your social circles than the demographics of the voters.

I don’t think people voted leave because they dislike foreigners. Some might have done but I don’t believe that was universal in the leave camp.

Bitter? I am delighted. Having been living outside the UK for the past 20 years I was not allowed to vote despite being British. However I would have voted leave. The EU doesn't need vermin.

They don't like anyone, even themselves. They just assumed Werthers originals, stair lifts and cremations would be cheaper 'out'

These are the people who decided the referendum. Whilst I'm pretty left leaning - I really hope a strong right wing government comes in and slashes their supply of cash and sells their house to to a slum landlord.

These people were being interviewed in Dudley town centre, any 'bloody foraners' that get given a house in Dudley will probably leave sharpish, of their own accord.

Just for clarity, I was talking about the cahnsil types losing their benefits and getting a slum landlord smile

Why hang around here if you think of us as vermin? Scheisse, why not fully integrate?

you failed to distingish between union and league. The latter having the same fan base as speedway, stock car racing and ice hockey.
I've worked in both of these sports for many years (does that make me council?) and I don't think I've met anyone through them who is also a League fan.

There does seem to be a correlation between fans of stock cars and fans of professional wrestling though, so I will let the thread decide...

They just featured a typical example of such a voter on BBC news, turkeys voting for Christmas springs to mind.
