That will be a manky cesspit in no time at all.
Looks pretty clean in the photos, fair play for cracking on and realising his vision, took some effort and determination.

Why make it so close to the neighbours house though? Why not put it at the bottom of that garden if you must have one, or even demolishing that granny flat and place there as seems to be a field at the back.

Feel for neighbours, as probably made the neighbours house harder to sell too

He dug a hole as a laugh when inebriated.
I doubt anyone has thought " Let's dismantle an outbuilding, clear the rubble away, and hire some jigger picks to dig up the foundations for a laugh" while inebriated*

* this is probably not true, it probably has been thought of but not done biggrin

Is this the only DM link to not include a value of the house or the wage of the owner ( i assume he doesn't have one other than JSA)
Does the square footage of his conservatory count?

If Merlin passes are council, as are their locations, what does it make me? (Passholders in some for since 2009, 73 visits since I started counting in 2013, 11 visits to Alton Towers and 1 to Chessington this year so far)

It makes you Council, clearly!

I was nearly in tears when I saw how they'd let the gardens go so much, at Alton Towers. I remember them back in the 70s before any of the rides came along and they were beautiful. And how they crow about spending a million on the castle... FFS I spent a third of that doing up my HOUSE. That conservation trust that owns the land has a lot to answer for not holding Merlin more to account.

11 trips to Alton Towers in six months?

It was fun the first time I went, but I can't imagine finding it very interesting to go again

Yeah, bit excessive. Went 3 times in the late 90's but not since. I did buy some Merlin shares when they were first issued on the basis that it's a bit of a laugh and chavs love swings and to hang around children's play areas in parks.

In my defence I have 3 groups of friends who all go at different times and invite me :P

Gardens? They have 6 gardeners for an enormous area and everything across park has been budget cut to hell so garden budget is minimal

Guy in the barbers:

  • Blue Adidas trainers
  • White Adidas socks (pulled all the way up)
  • Blue Adidas shorts
  • White Adidas T-shirt
  • Blue Adidas track suit top
  • Big watch on display
  • Cigarette (outside)
All combined probably quite expensive; looked very council!
