Ok, enough about Lagerfeld, Viktor &Rolf, Oud, Vanilla, Tom Ford, Tom of Finland etc.

Anyone here who likes DR Harris Bay Rum?

I treated myself to a Clive Christian 1872. It’s one of my 2 all time favourites, along with Escentric Molecules escentric number 2.

It's not widely known that Yul Brynner was allergic to aftershave, also he was a big fan of Liverpool FC.

Yul never wore cologne

.

It's common for aftershocks of that gag to be felt for many days, don't worry but keep the cat indoors.
I was like for about 2 seconds then laugh

I like Aventus or L'Eau D'Issey

Me too, I had a sample of Clive Christian X and loved it, but when I went to buy the 1872 was on for a fat discount so I bought that instead.

Too pricey for me in full bottles but I've enjoyed all CC splits I've had. I find Creed Royal Mayfair pretty close to 1872.

The box it comes in is big enough to live in as well.

Having tried dozens over the years I've finally settled on Caron - Le Troisieme Homme.

Spicebomb has to be the king of the cheaper aftershaves. Wore it out earlier, still smells pleasant now.

Has anyone used Toms Decants recently for Creed? Was going to treat myself to a 50ml bottle for Christmas but it’s now £195 a bottle everywhere I can see, sure it used to be £160 ish? So I think I’ll get a smaller decant instead.

My friend got me Aventus Creed for my birthday, 200£, 50ml, beautiful scent but doesn’t last longer than 2 hours

That doesn't sound quite right; Aventus usually has decent staying power. Perhaps they've changed the newer batches?

That’s a good thing about being a scent wearer. You’ll soon notice if your sense of smell is off.

Has anyone tried Creed Royal Oud? Lad at work was wearing some lovely smelling aftershave last week, I asked him what it was, and he just said 'Arabian oud'.
Just about to place an order with Toms decants and have noticed Creed do a version of Oud.

I've got some Royal Oud from Tom, use it occasionally. Acquired taste possibly, I quite like it but I don't have much Oud experience.

Got some Armaf Club de Nuit Intense for Xmas, was interested to try it against Aventus. Reasonably similar but not the same intensity or longevity, decent choice for a daily wearer though I think, cheap as chips.

There're many flavours of oud out there, Creed's one I find too heavy and cloying.

Tom also does Tom Ford's Oud Wood which, to my nose, smells far better.

Was digging around under the sink looking for something and found Creed Acier Aluminium that I’d forgotten about. I like a strong smelling aftershave but stone me forgot how strong this is lol.
