Was digging around under the sink looking for something and found Creed Acier Aluminium that I’d forgotten about. I like a strong smelling aftershave but stone me forgot how strong this is lol.
Smells like an old lady’s handbag. Creed make some lovely scents, AA is not one of them.

Currently really enjoying Mont Blanc, Explorer. Gets a lot of complements, and seems to last well too. I have Creed Aventus, which it’s relatively similar to but for me Explorer shades it (and it much cheaper).

I can also recommend Tom Ford Noir Extreme.

Another old time favourite is Hugo Boss (green bottle). Really fresh and satisfying fragrance.

Yup, half the thread uses Tom.

Go for it.
Where is Tom now? He was on eBay last I saw, but couldn’t find him when I recently looked.

I've just given Explorer a shot, hope it's as good as promised.

Don't use alcohol based products after abrasion.
What your skin needs is maximum hydration, not irritation.
Use a moisturizer.

He had a problem with eBay over something unrelated to his sales, so he set his own site up.

I received a Mont Blanc Explorer set for Christmas - I've tried it before and was a fan, so happy with that.

Also received some Molton Brown Russia Leather eau de parfum too, which is a personal favourite!

Agree, Bleu de Chanel is definitely my favourite, very versatile. I also like Chanel Allure Homme Sport.
Issey Miyake is definitely a classic.
Back in the day, I used to like Acqua Di Gio, but I really dislike it now.

Has Atelier Cologne been mentioned on this thread? They have some very nice fragrances.

Bleu de Chanel has been mentioned a lot on here so I thought I would go and have a sniff, yuk. Old woman's talcum powder was the only thing that sprang to mind. Nope.

If you want a decent Chanel, get Pour Monsieur EDP

One of my Christmas gifts was a bottle of Penhaligons Juniper Sling.

I was slightly unsure when I first saw it as I assumed, by looking at it, that it was a female fragrance or one of those unisex fragrances that is more female than male.

But it is really nice. I am very impressed. Wonderful fresh zesty smell, and also smells quite strongly like Gin.

Recommended.

I should be smelling of Tom Ford Effing Fabulous as my Hungarian cousins sent through a bottle for my 50th birthday.

Unfortunately, someone in the delivery chain removed the bottle from the parcel so all I got were some chocolates and a note to say the parcel was opened before it arrived in the UK.

As it is, I'm now wearing the rather nice Issey Miyake - Shades of Kolam, courtesy of a split swap with JBM78 last year. Split 10ml bottles seem to make it through UK post just fine.

My Phoenix and Beau Waterloo aftershave ran out so I took a punt on this

I like it but annoyingly it reminds me of something and I can't place it.

official scent notes said:
Arlington is a subtle blend of citrus and fern, created to be refreshing and stimulating. Whilst not overwhelming, this fragrance can either be worn day or night. Notes of Lemon, Bergamot, Orange, Neroli, Rose and Musk

Tend to wear Hugo Boss.

More importantly, what perfume drive you wild? When I was 17 a Mrs. Robinson wore white musk. It still gives me the horn even now at 42.
