Decided to give my work colleagues something a little more challenging today; am wearing Tom Ford Ombré Leather. I really like this but it's a somewhat unusual scent - it really doubles down on the leather aspect.
I had a sample of Tom Ford Ebume Fume which I wore yesterday, the amber is very strong, although not as strong as Absolute Amber! They're not bad fragrances, but definitely niche.

Must admit I've not tried the omebre leather. I've tried a few Tom Ford fragrances, I think they're distinctive, but certainly not something I'd spend my own money on, considering their cost!

That ones the first leather fragrance that literally smells of pure leather lol. I like it, but figure a leather jacket would give the same effect.

Anyone use after shaves with pheromones added?
I’ve a mate who does and I’m thinking “wtf” is it like Benny Hill being chased by lovelies even though you’re a 5ft hob goblin?
Ahhhh... memories of Joop! Homme (the red one) circa 1998-2005!

It was an utter, utter magnet, many young ladies seemed to go nuts for the stuff. I don't think it had pheromones in it, but it had something akin to the attraction properties of special brew to a transient!
I recall it being overly-sickly-sweet but yes, for some reason it was like olfactory catnip to a lot of women at the time...
My wife still buys it for me to wear...
Just shows how individual and personal fragrances are! I still have a Joop in my collection (Homme Wild).
However, I've just ordered some Armaf CDN to try courtesy of this thread!
And, wife says 'go back to Joop'! Maybe the Armaf 'Nightclub' just not for my skin.

The prior talk of JPG had me reminiscent of the EDT - after reading some reviews I’ve gone for a bottle of Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male Le Parfum EDP.

Seems to have very good reviews on fragrantica so hopefully I like it - on paper I should and it’s very different to any of my others , at least the EDT is.

On the subject of "must not spend more" - has anyone tried D&G The One for men intense? I quite like it and Notino have 50ml for £53 (rrp £80) or a little over £90 for 100ml). Tempting.

I personally like it but it's a VERY popular fragrance and a bit love and hate. Whenever I wear it my mum says she can smell pickles (Dill note) laugh

Regarding the popularity, walking around east London, you will smell it multiple times on someone or lingering around hotels and shops. That for me ruins it sadly. It's essentially the Sauvage for hipsters.

The Le Male EDT is an absolute classic, very fond memories. Do have an almost empty one still on the shelf.

Le Parfum I've tried, definitely more grown up than the original EDT, less fresh, much more warm/spicy. I'd consider it a good autumn/winter fragrance, not sure how suited to spring/summer.

Another sample I tried, TBH found it rather meh and not worth all the online hype.

Continued the leathery vibe today with Halfeti Leather. One thing's for sure with this and TF Ombré Leather - they certainly have impressive longevity, I'm still getting subtle wafts of it even now having applied it around 8am this morning.

Sounds promising - if it’s different enough I might pick up the EDT to go alongside too. I found a 1ml sample of EDT a few months ago, must have been years old like 5+ - still packed a punch and smelled spot on.

Re Halfeti leather I regret selling mine, really great fragrance and definitely has longevity

I will say my Tom Ford samples seem to have very good longevity. Amber Absolute lasts forever, it is also very strong. I believe it's been discontinued, though?

I have an Oud for Happiness, PDM Greenley & PDM Percival from Tom's Decants if anyone would like to take them off my hands?

Oud for Happiness has one spray out bottle, other two about half used. All 10ml bottles.

Thinking £35 for the lot. Cheers

Also got a 5ml of Hermes Terre d'Hermes Parfum, one squirt removed, if anyone's interested. Not my type of scent unfortunately!

TL just go into any John Lewis and you’ll be able to try the Parfum or the EDP.

Anyone used the scent sampler website ?

Prices seem almost too good to be true with their half price discount code - circa £1 per ml for creed etc.

Trust pilot mostly positive but some suggesting oily (like copy cat scents I found) and some saying colour is off.

Interesting.

What law is being broken here if Shopify said no to Creed's request?

Spot on - I’m really enjoying it, it is exactly that, a slightly more mature version of the EDT.

Good value too. Nice addition that.
