Well, my bottle of Aventus arrived from Tom's creed decants today and it certainly seems the real deal. Happy at £38 for 30mls, certainly don't mind not having a "proper" bottle for it at that price.

I can't see aventus on the site, is it just my poor eyesight?

£38 for 30ml seems very cheap. I paid £50 for 50ml of Sauvage and I think that's EDT.

Thanks...can you pop round and show me how my remote works. smile

Edited to add...just ordered a 10ml to try for £13. If I like it then I'll order the 30ml as well.

Tom now has Royal Water and Bois du Portugal in stock so I've ordered a couple of 10mls from him to see what they're like.

Royal Water smells lovely but it doesn't last long.

I was in Selfridges the other day and got a spray of a fragrance from a brand I'd never heard of, Boadicea The Victorious, and annoyingly I can't remember the name of the fragrance as it turned into a bit of a piss up day out! Luckily I have a meeting just down the road on Thursday, so I'll go back and figure out which one it was.

You weren't wrong about the longevity - it's almost completely gone in 20 minutes. Waste of money and wouldn't order it again. Bois Du Portugal sticks around longer but the lavender top note is too much for me. I have a mate popping over tonight who's also into them, will see if he wants them. I still have that Erolfa if anyone wants to make an offer for it as well.

My 5 favourite Creeds are still Aventus, GIT, Himalaya, Silver Mountain Water and Original Santal.

By the way, what did you make of the Roja samples?

Great Britain smells like an air freshener in the atomiser but I haven’t sprayed it yet although a bit must have rubbed on my thumb and it smelled different, so I remain hopeful - going to try it on Friday when I go for a late lunch with my boss and our missus’.

Auod smells good in the atomiser! Time will tell!

Hi gents thanks for the kind words smile

I always try to keep my prices low as I look to just cover the cost of bottles and keep some juice for myself and a little bit towards my cycling stuff smile

Is there any other creeds that people would like me to get in that I dont have currently.

Creed are having a price increase in July so we shall see how much they will crank them up by. Aventus is also becoming particuarly hard to get a hold of there is a shortage of the 500ml flacons. Though i have batch from 2016 which im trying to keep back. Will be cracking my first 2018 batch open in the coming week or two smile
