The only thing that I use is Lush (the retailer) deodorant.

I know people who can smell me 10metres away with it on.
And the deodorant doesn't help at all? laugh

I opened a bottle of Acqua di Gio a few months back. And it is just a brilliant aftershave.

Armani Code is a very close second.

I have so many different types as a few members of my family work for the perfume outlets. I never paid for an aftershave I think!

Amazing stuff. You can exercise all day with no smell, staining or soreness etc

Aqua di Gio is lovely stuff, I have the Profumo. Wear it often. Only downside to it is the number of people who recognise it as it’s pretty common.

Code has really incredible longevity. Another one I use often. I prefer AdG though.

Aren't you old bill? I would have thought you'd have taken your custom elsewhere after that 'spy cops' disaster?

armani code is the only thing i have. it used to be called 'armani black code'. smells great, ive not had many aftershaves but i like this one so much i figure i might aswell keep it as my go-to smells apart from the odd CK stuff.

Well, got my 10m each of Terre D'Hermes Parfum, Mugler Pure Havane and Pure Malt, and Dunhill Edition. Don't like any of them!
Good job you didn’t blind buy full bottles then.

I’ve not tried the tdh parfum, I like and have Dunhill Edition, but not keen on the Muglers though their Cologne is good for a cheapie.

I grabbed 250ml of Dior Amber Nuit when I was in LA. Probably my new favourite evening drop along with Tom Ford TV. Absolutely love it.

+1 on AdG Profumo. Very versatile in that it's clean enough to wear to work but also classy enough to wear out in the evening.

Anyway, after going back through my Scent Samples testers earlier this week, decided to buy this as my new winter fragrance:

Edit to add: some good offers on at Boots at the mo. Versace Eros is 1/2 price (£26 for 50ml) (+ £10 worth of Boot points for every £60 spent if you're so inclined in the ways of the Boots advantage card).

Then you're putting on too much!
There is an old girl at my office who has a not bad smelling perfume, but being near her is downright unpleasant. She really does smell like a perfume shop. and coming from me, a smoker with the associated lack of sense of smell - that means she has lost control .

She's addicted. probably drinks it, as well...

Tom Ford for me, Noir and Black Orchid. They're not cheap but had a lot of compliments, don't need much on as pretty punchy.

I have Noir Anthracite, found Black Orchid nice but too floral on me.

Possibly because Black Orchid is a woman's fragrance

When I tried it in-store it was billed as unisex. Some sites say it's unisex, some say it's a womens' fragrance. I guess TF have no issues flogging it to whoever will buy it.

As per my comments earlier in the thread I've never really got on well with unisex scents.

I think EDP is Female and EDT is uni-sex. To my nose, EDP was alot more sweeter than EDT.

Noir Extreme might be worth a look in if you like BO but want it abit more 'manly'

Chaps, if you've not tried Spicebomb Extreme, worth giving it a go as a winter fragrance.

First time I've worn to work this year and I've had more compliments than either Sauvage or Aventus.

I was in the west end yesterday, so I went into Selfridges and ended up with Roja Elysium pure parfum. It’s the most expensive aftershave I’ve ever bought but it really does smell fantastic.

I'm hesitant to give any more Roja a try as I didn't really get on with either of the samples I sent on to you...

My current aftershaves

VR Spicebomb extreme for everyday use.
Creed Aventus for attracting attention from all the lasses and that.
TF Ombre Leather. My personal favorite but reserved for nights out.
TF Tobacco Vanille. Again for nights out but it's Mrs Toons favourite.
