In a Caterham they're almost a necessity. I have Speedcats in leather and suede, both plain dark brown, so nicely understated. I'd love to see them back in production.
Ditto, still have mine from 2016 when the thread was started.

Only used for long journeys or drives in the Z4.

Wished I'd bought two pairs at the time, the drift cats look good but not tried them on.

They must be an earlier version, they don't look like the ones I have.
Also they're only available in a girly size 8.5 tongue out

If your Mrs has size 8.5 feet you might want to check the undercarriage.

Occasionally check the Puma website in case they are back but no joy. But I did find a website - whitenap.co.uk - listing the speedcats for £35, 106 units in stock. Can't find out much about this site, no reviews, etc so assume it's a scam. Anyone know if they are kosher?

Extra 20% off on selected stock on the Puma site, still no speedcats though.

Thread bump/revival...

...for what it's worth, Sports Direct have some cheap Drift Cats online, in sizes 7, 9 and 9.5:

https://www.sportsdirect.com/puma-drift-cat-5-trai...

Also the Velcro ones in 7, 8, 8.5, 9, 10 & 11:

https://www.sportsdirect.com/puma-drift-cat-5-ac-s...

Lastly, some Ferrari branded ones:

https://www.sportsdirect.com/puma-drift-7-trainers...

Not Speed Cats I realise, and certainly not everyones cup of tea, but maybe a useful & cheap (£30 to £40) alternative for folks searching in vain for Speed Cats?

This may given some of you a happy Christmas, but it seems Puma might have rereleased the Speedcat but in a slightly different guise.

I’ve been looking for a new pair of Speedcats but without luck, as I do not want BMW or Mercedes branded ones. Looking on Pumas website just now and they are back but badged with Sparco branding, and not cheap at £90

Looks like the red speedcats are available in sizes up to 12 but black is limited to size 10? scratchchin

I'm really tempted, but from what I can tell they aren't the comfiest for everyday wear. Since I'll only be wearing them to drive I might just buy some Lonsdale Camdens (which seem similar in terms of the sole and heel) from Sports Direct for 30 quid!

That and I'm generally either an 11 or 11.5 in most shoes and worry that the 11s will be too small and the 12s might be too long.

Sale currently on Puma site for some of their motorsport shoes, plus an additional 15%, the Sparcos only have the 15% discount though and not in the "sale".
