He's got kidney stones too? Poor bugger. Apparently Absinthe dissolves them, 1 litre per 4mm stone.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery chap.

Apparently shooting Seagulls under 7 miles from the coast is a no no, I assume that's as the gull flies.

Anyone know the rules on Pelicans?

Going on a Clay shoot next week & I don't want any misunderstanding!

Went to asda to buy 2 pizzas from their create-your-own counter. To my disappointment they had no deep pan Pepperoni Feast ones. So I had to settle for 2 stonebaked ones. (I normally prefer stonebaked, but on this occasion wanted deep pan). There was a lady at the counter doing something, but I didn't want to bother her into making 2 for me. #WoeIsMe.

What was she doing? Priming fuses is the answer. I suspect the Asda employees have another agenda so I wouldn't touch that pizza before looking for the det cord and tracing it back, and I think you will find it leads to the back room.

The bloke in the "only 4 types of supercars" thread has finally had enough hehe Although i doubt that it has sunk in yet that being contrarian and condescending is not a basis for a civil discussion

It's the last day of the month so probably time to take down my birthday cards (all four of them).

My birthday was in April.

Why not jazz it up a bit? I mean do a muriel on it. That'll cheer you up at least, but I don't know about Iva he's beyond redemption at the moment.

Penrose has worked hard all his life and isn't a union member so it can't be him.

He never seems that interested in rules.

Fcensoredg Pelican!!

My day has been really crap.

My ipad wont boot, just shows that half eaten apple thing then goes off & I had a puncture as I was coming off the M25 on the way home.

Tyre borked, ipad borked & Ive got to go to Heathrow tonight....... On a blooming Spacesaver!!!!

Happy I am not!

Haha puncture here too. Changed to spacesaver and did 80 miles in it at 60 with buttocks clenched. Got home and used the compressor to find it was a flint right on the edge of the tread. Shot into the local garage before they closed and they'll put a plug in it no questions asked and the car is a fking nightmare for tyres they have to be changed in pairs or the x drive sts itself. Need it done as I'm towing a car trailer tomorrow.

Good news though on the jalopy - the THIRD oil pump worked, after a total of 4 pump changes in the last week and believe me it's not good taking the manifolds and sump off with the car on axle stands, fitting a pump and putting it all nicely back together and going through the same process time after time after finding each pump is useless.
Original pump A - removed because 100psi +. Pump B fitted
Pump B - removed because crap psi. Pump A fitted after checking OK
Pump A - removed because crap psi. Refitted because pressure valve was stuck open with foreign matter
Pump A - removed because still crap psi. Fitted pump C. Oil pressure normal.

I'm glad I got all that out. Had to tell somebody.

This bird strike business. Will it be one day with no morning chorus? Boycotting suburban bird tables? We should be kept informed. They always seem to do it during peak holiday times.
