Could well be his glove. I'd keep a eye on it, see if he comes back for it.

Been a long time since I went to a car auction, good few years now. Had a nice full English recently though.

Last weekend I think it was. Good bit of black pudding too.

A double garage - concrete floor and potentially heated - wooooah. My dream
It's all integrated into the ground floor of the house.

IIRC, it's not heated but as it's part of the house it shouldn't be freezing.

I've been reading the garage thread with interest about the types of flooring, lighting etc. Many plans! biggrin

Unfortunately, having spent so much on the house, I've got no money left to buy anything fancy to put in the garage. Looks like I'll be sticking with the 328 for the time being.

Saw the Transporter Bridge in Cardiff for the first time yesterday and completely forgot to take a picture of it for your delectation.

I have loads of pics of the one over the Tees.

Lots of boxes to pack and things to move today. With luck by the end of the weekend we'll be properly moved in.

As in, "You're not from around here, are ye, son?"

Apologies; painting with a broad brush there. I was aiming for Penarth from just north of Chepstow and Google found an esoteric route via some rarely seen parts of South-Wales-next-the-Sea to avoid the M4. The most bewildering part was me not stopping and recording the spectacle for posterity.

I pigged out last night on snacks.

My next meal is scheduled for Monday or maybe Thursday.

The Lucido Grigio Diet: eat on Monday or maybe Thursday.

Will it catch on, I wonder?

I think I might have already been following the Grigio Method without knowing it

I've got Scotch Heggs today. All I had yesterday was a bag of crisps. Well, it was a big bag of crisps. No, bigger than that. So big that I was actually really bored of eating them by the time I finished

The weather defeated my feeble attempt at gardening.

My garden is a mess.

I'm a terrible gardener.

Next door went on holiday earler,I went into their front garden to cut out weeds that emanate from my side.

It's slow progress.

Smoked salmon sandwiches today doncha know. Topped off with a smattering of black pepper.

Very healthy. Or would have been if I hadn't had half a loafs worth of bread and the whole salmon packet.

In Lee McKenzie news, she was at the women's footballl in Netherlands ,now in Budapest for F1.

She was the reporter for Scotland games,so obviously no need to hang about in clog land.
