Been cold at work this week, resisting the thermals as long as possible, cos if I give in now, what do I do when it really gets cold.

Saying that, a few snowdays would be nice, but I am betting the snow shield is getting itself ready to hover!

Ice! On my windscreen! At 7.15 this morning, in West Sussex!

Outrageous.

Might have to consider putting the boiler on soon but equally, might just by the wife another blanket to stop her moaning about being "cold" all the time...

Well this morning I actually woke up a little cool, so clicked the heating on via the app for the first time this winter (according to the thermostat it was 2 deg outside!). Also had to wear a coat when going to the car, and pop the heated seats on.

Happy days. biggrin

Same in East Sussex too...!

Sometimes I regret living in a frost hollow.

Hello from across the border.

A brisk 4.5 degrees according to the dashboard this morning, weather app suggests it will be 10 degrees at sunrise so can go back to shorts and a t shirt I suspect.

Looking forward to the winter fuel allowance again. Not sure what to spend it on yet.

Models are predicting this high pressure spell will last a couple of weeks at least.

With the high pressure anchored over Scandinavia, bringing cool air from Russia, we'd be dribbling with anticipation in mid winter

All the puddles were frozen for me this morning, and I start with a few kms going downhill so think I changed sex on the way to work, biggrin

It's a beautiful day though.
