Travellers dump mountain of rubbish in 2012 Olympic Park

Inbred wk stains.
Just read the article it states that the developer will have to cover the cost of the clear up!! Yet again the scum get away with it it would appear that they truly are above the law!!! furious
Looks exactly the same as the mess they left in a similar disused-but-waiting-to-be-built-on site near Rackspace out by Heathrow last year.

The law doesn't want to get involved, the London Mayor does not want to get involved and as it is private grounds the council doesn't want to know.

It is so depressing that a group can be above the law. It is rare that any get caught and the slavery ones deserved a much longer sentence and hopefully all their money seized as they clearly profited from crime.

I keep saying though, it is our fault, too many employ people without checking they are licenced and if something is cheap it is not straight. Also we shrug our shoulders but how many pester their MP's? If their collective inboxes were full everyday with complaints and the police and crime commissioner, they would start to look at solutions.

How can anyone not notice that pile growing daily & not so something about it? At least complain to Environmental Health, and surely the landowner/their agent would be down there each day getting them moved. I bet the Social work Department were all over them, with offers to help, shame they dont seem to consider kids living next to an East London version of Fresh Kills to be harmful!

someone paid them to remove their rubbish, the original owners of it should also be brought to book.

I imagine it wont be that hard to find a receipt or 2 in that pile & track it back to people.
What punishment would people get? Presumably for hiring an unregulated collector for their crap?

ETA: A fine it would appear, so the circumstances

I suppose it is good to fine people who encourage these vermin by paying them in cash as it's cheaper than doing it the legit way, but someone needs to do more against the dumpers themselves too

yes

I wonder how many people complain about travellers, but are happy to pay some dodgy bloke in a transit £50 cash to take away a pile of rubble from their front garden.

Surely the best way to deal with that eyesore would be a few matches thrown over the fence?

And once burnt to the ground you could then get contractors in to clear away that pile of rubbish as well.

Isn't that just the pile of rubbish they've been hired to "remove" from the last traveller site, which in turn they were hired to have "removed" from the place before that?

Its just the same rubbish moved around and around, each time they get paid cash in hand to come and move it, job done!

Far too many.

When one turned up near us, all 400 or so houses objected, yet you still see metal items left outside their gate. I take all of mine to the top. If you give them a Reason to be in an area they will.

This just pop up on facebook.
HORSE PEOPLE..ALERT-URGENT
I have been informed this morning that the travellers entered a yard yesterday, pinned the owners up by the throat whilst other travellers looked in the horses mouths and checked the sex of them. We don't know what type of horses they are looking for but they are definitely after stealing them. This yard was on Lambley lane and was a terrifying incident. I have been asked to post this to warn everyone in the area to be vigilant and secure your horses as much as possible. The travellers have encampments in Arnold, Burton Joyce and Newton. The police have attended and are aware of the attempted theft. Please also secure your tack rooms and if you see anything suspicious report it straight away to the police. This group is willing to use violence to get what they want. Feel free to copy and paste to alert others

Yep on a lot of the spotted [insert local area name] Facebook groups people often post up asking for various broken white goods removal. These spotted groups also have travellers on them scouring for scrap or negative comments.

Are people too lazy to actually dispose of this stuff themselves, rather pay a dodgy geezer in a van , but then tut at fly tipping.

You horrible racists, I hope you feel bad about perpetuating false stereotypes about the hardworking travelling community...
https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2017/sep...

Article writer said: If our community is finally going to be free from discrimination, prejudice and racism, we need to show, using the courts, that we will no longer stand for it and that services can no longer get away with it.

Utter pisstake, use the courts when it suits them, but utterly disregard the law the rest of the time. Now I'm all against discrimination and unfair treatment of people based on their membership of an ethnic group, but really??

An excuse to show Marco Pierre White's way of dealing with 'racist terminology.' hehe

No, not lazy, they just despair at having to pay councils to do what they perceive they've already paid the council to do through council tax.
The self-important shower of st currently filling our local council offices charge the thick end of £30 to take away unwanted white goods, but they probably have to do that to fund the Travellers Liason Officer whose first job, on learning of a local infestation, is to visit site and ensure there are no "safety and welfare" issue the council needs to assist the Pcensoreds with. rolleyes
(For the record, they've never checked on my safety and welfare)

This should do the trick.
