I am still confused how they managed to get themselves linked to actual Roma, who are part of a persecuted minority etc etc rather than just being seen as the itinerant criminals they are. I own a plant hire and sales company in NZ, but am originally from UK and know all about these lovely people and their way of life.
A few years ago I warned all the local hire companies that some of them were over here for a holiday, they ignored me and hired to them.
Next month the headlines in local papers were about hire co's being ripped off for hundreds of thousands and OAP's being robbed of savings.
I'm sure they have learnt for next time.
