Maybe this will be a step in the right direction, will be interesting to see if neighbouring boroughs follow suit

This thread is discussing members of society who daily break the law, are threatening, abusive, belligerent, destructive, littering, et-al.
If you have been on the receiving end of their behaviour, as I have, you would see no issue with this thread.

We are discussing people who add nothing to society, but are leeches who steal societies beauty, funds and enjoyment. Mainly for the fun of it to them!

In my case in the last 40 years I have received threats, had items stolen by, property damaged, and wild animals hunted illegally by this group of oxygen thieves. In the countryside around me they are responsible for 75%+ of the crime.

Living in a caravan for 8 months of the year does not make someone a gypsy. Real Romany Gypsies are not a problem and add colour to everyday life. They are polite, respectable, environmentally friendly, real members of our society.

This thread is about those that contribute nothing.
Totally agree.
Where do they live for the other 4 months? Genuine question

At least Pripyat will one day be habitable.

And after a quick look on google... I'd rather take my chances in Pripyat

...At least that's only got one Carni-fairground that is liable to kill you!

This'll be challenged right up to the Supreme Court. At our expense, naturally.

....one incidence of human faeces being deposited in socks and left to hang on a protected ancient monument at Barking Abbey.

“This order is not, and never has been, about preventing the travelling community from coming to the borough.

“The council is proud of the diversity within its area and is committed to promoting the rights of all individuals who choose to come to Barking and Dagenham.

“The decision to take out an injunction was to address the criminality, fly-tipping and environmental damage that persist with a minority of groups who set up illegal encampments.

“This activity affected the local community and businesses, but also damages the reputation of the traveller communities who want to retain their legitimate and traditional way of life within the law.”

Fair play.

Went through Rathkeale a few years ago. Took the wrong turn. There was more pony and traps going around than cars.

Never been to Pripyat but I think given the 2 choices it wins hands down.

I laughed at that!!!

Just had a quick look on google maps for Rathkeale. It has everything. A typical road in Rathkeale

Quintessentially .

Just editing. Noticed something weird. The photo spheres you get on street view. Just have a look at Rathkeale, and see if you notice something "unusual", in relation to every other town and city in the world. Plus the streetview in july 2009 - use that option. Just.... weird. There's nobody there. Nobody.

One man's monument to his love of tarmac. I know grass is basically kryptonite to an empty rear-drive Transit tipper, but come on.

Take an e-walk around that neighbourhood. (for goodness sake don't actually go there). They just looooooove tarmac.

Rathkeale won't end in war between the communities, it'll be swallowed by a flash flood.

Hey, I'm e-walking there now (it's lunchtime and I'm bored)

I'm by Tadhg O' Connor's furniture store!! Fancy a virtual pint? Hard to miss me, I'm the only person there....

I guess we can play hide and seek. Lets make it a bit more difficult, I'm by the white range rover....and a piebald horse.

Never you mind

It's the entrance to the pike-cave, that's the pikemobile reversing out of it.
And planning permission? I doubt they even got a look!

Prison, Ireland, social housing in the UK they manage to procure and move into en masse.

They did a lovely job of the pavement, though - very artistic.

My own highlighting. But well done, hopefully more injunctions to follow.
