And then label themselves as Gypsie Travellers to have the exclusivity of them being classed as an 'ethnic minority' and all the benefits and legal protection it offers. They have the best legal representation in the land. They love accusing people who dare say anything against there thieving way of life as being racists, its the most powerful tool they have.

I feel sorry for genuine Gypsies and Travellers (Particularly Romany) who don't cause any harm and are welcome to be protected as per what the 'ethnic minority' is in place for.

The criminals who hide behind this make a mockery of the law, genuine Gypsies, authority, hard working tax payers, they offer nothing to society at all and contribute nothing positive and nobody will do anything about it! It must cost the tax payer a fortune and totally drain resources that could be used elsewhere, it is complete madness.

See, this is the root of the issue. It's widely believed that trers managed to finagle themselves onto an ethnic minority/race ticket by camping on the back of the genuine Roma case and paying their considerable legal bills, in return for being included.
