Had my first real encounter with some travellers tonight.
Was parked up on the main road with the hood down waiting for my wife to collect a takeaway.
I noticed the 3 kids loitering round but didnt think too much about it.
They then came up along side the car and started asking questions about it “how fast”, “how many bhp” etc. I answered their questions and just thought they were interested. Then started asking me to rev it, which I politely declined.
They kept insisting, and I declined again. I then happened to look in my wing mirror only to see one of them had whipped his cock out and was proceeding to piss up the rear wheel arch!

Put a new screen in a DAF XF truck this week that some 
kids had trashed.
They’d stood a wheelie bin full of rubble in the motorway to stop a truck and then pelted it with bricks from a bridge apparently. Cab was absolutely showered with glass splinters inside and the driver had to go to hospital with glass in his eyes. Absolutely unbelievable.

Although as an ex trucker, I empathise with the driver of the DAF, maybe I’ve missed something here, but on the assumption that the wheelie bin was placed in the left hand lane only, (perhaps it wasn’t), and not a string of bins across all lanes, was it impossible for the driver to go round the bin, either in lane 2, or via the hard shoulder? kids had trashed. Of course, it would have been better if no obstruction was placed on the M-Way, and he didn’t HAVE to go around it, but my first thought would have been to drive around it, if it were possible.

Went to Sainsburys local to work on Friday
Notice the security guard chasing 2 blokes through the car park. More staff followed.
Blokes made it to a Transit van and jumped in the back, almost ran over the security guard as they drove out
Went inside the store to see the 2 trolleys full of Lego and other expensive items they'd been attempting to steal. According to the staff it'll be a weekly occurrence in the run up to Christmas now

In London on Saturday, just outside Borough Market. heard the sound of houses, thinking it maybe a team of dray's or the like we took a look around the corner, what did we see?
About 30 or 40 pony and trap's going along the main road, straight through the red lights, and then across the pedestrian crossing (also controlled by a red light) a few tourists were almost caught out, thinking it was OK to cross when the little green man flashed.

Interesting to note the BBC only seeking the views of Travellers.
I live on a travellers site and all is well, what I cannot understand is the local community of house dwellers as they are always out shouting, swearing and fighting, they leaving rubbish all over the place, intimidate the whole community on site, I’m sure none of them pay any tax. They also let their animals run wild including the horses.
We feel it’s not safe to step outside of the camp site because of how the locals act. I think it’s best for us to just stay in the camp as we know 100% that the locals won’t come in here.
