And he still has his mop of hair, lucky barsteward!

Incredibly lucky in the DNA lottery... Or a bloody horrific painting in the spare room of his retirement bungalow.

Just saw Glynis Barber talking about her new part in Hollyoaks. Those of a certain age will remember her from Dempsey & Makepeace, which thankfully is regularly repeated, but she is still a fine looking woman angel
I can remember Mayfair photo shoot of her.

Well an absolute replica. Very sought after copy back in my school days.

Just watching Faye Tozer on TV. Time has been very kind to her.

His son took loads of pics of him on his birthday and copyrighted each from what I heard. Try and copy and post one and it comes out (as above) looking like a bad painting.
I watched him on one of the morning breakfast shows and it had him 'exercising' with others going round in a circle. Christ, he has a stomach on him which I wasn't expecting.

For blokes, this one takes some beating for aging well. 'Ronnie Scott' (not the jazz one, he died yrs ago) but the Argentinian whose parents were a Scot and and English nurse (Ronnie was one of the 5000 who volunteered to come to the UK and enlist and fight the Nazis. He flew several planes inc the Spitfire. This year if he makes it he will reach 105. Amazing man.

Link: It's in Argentinian, just translate it to English. He still cycles to the shops!

no accounting for what gold digging women find most attractive about a rich man old enough to be her father,

she gave it 3 years to be fair, but he showed major signs of having disgustingly robust health and was not gonna croak any time soon.

The Ken Barlow character in Coronation Street, played by William Roache. He's been in it since 1960.

I really dislike those shoes where the toes peep out like that. I'd have sent her home to get changed because she's otherwise most acceptable.

Is not watching Coronation Street all you need to do to not know who he is?

Well, I've mostly been overseas for the last 20 years, and also I haven't watched any TV at all in the last few years. So I genuinely had no idea who that fellow was.

I've similarly been overseas for some time and haven't watched TV for years, but even an ignoramus like me knows who *Ken* is.

I don't feel as if not being aware of this chap has in any way compromised my life.
