Blimey two more from my past that I had met through work or in worked with .
Hywell Bennett was in The Virgin Soldiers, I was an extra in the scenes filmed in Singapore. I was in the film but too young to see it when it was released as it was classed as an 18.
Met Robert Hardy several times at RANK FILMS in Denham when I worked on security there .We clashed on most of his visits !
So you may not know it but you have been in a film with a late rock icon doing a bit part in his early days too? Any idea who?
Mr Lawrence! I though he died in WW2.........
Wow !
Big supprise !
The classic car restorer that I worked for had MR Bs E type in storage .
Met him a couple of times but never made the connection.
Only remember him and Roy Woods didn't get on .( We helped when a customer sold him a Bentley).

Glen Campbell was a very good guitarist and songwriter.
He wrote many hits for other artists and was an in demand session musician in the early days . A sad loss .

Glen was one of my childhood favourites. I saw a TV film about his last tour somewhat recently, he was not in a good way then.

RIP Glen, you gave me many moments of pleasure.

Dammit, I was going to have him for 2018.

He was supposed to go on forever, what happened?

Extremely tenuous link to Brucie's birthplace.

I've driven through Edmonton too.

Ripspeed used to be in Edmonton.

He played as a session musician for the Beach Boys and toured with them in 1964/65, replacing an unwell Brian Wilson. He played bagpipes too!
