Why is that being a pedant?
It's the easy criticism on here and generally in life these days that if you like things to be right you're instantly branded a pedant. It's not being a pedant, it's being right.
If what you have written is correct then it is correct, nothing pedantic about it.

Formerly at AC Milan, Atalanta, and two spells at Fiorentina. Best known in the UK to Scottish football fans, and part of Hearts' 1998 Scottish Cup-winning team. It's no age at all to be dying. No word so far on what 'illness' it was that took him, but it's unnerving seeing announcements of the death of people so close to my own age.
