Little dogs, I know this is going to be controversial, but I don't get them, I have cats for sitting in my lap and being stroked, and proper dogs for accompanying me a walk.
Try putting a cat that doesn't want to be stroked on your lap - it will take large strips of flesh from you. That is of course if you can find where the effing thing has gone, assuming it isn't a house cat which is just a waste of an animals life.

Now a small dog that doesn't want to be stroked, so long as it isn't one of those nasty northern terrier type scrotes and after 320 seconds even the most reluctant will start to go "You know what I like this. I love my master."

Likewise I have never seen even the biggest hardest cat try to defend it's owner from attack. I have seen the smallest fluffiest little dog look like it was about to rip your head off and piss down your neck when it felt it's owner was under threat.
If a dog owner dies at home, the dog will die by its master's side.

If a cat owner dies at home, the cat will last 48 hours before eating its master.

Thus proving cats are brighter than dogs.

Laughable that people think IT professionals / IT Security are redundant.
IT support - the "professional" bit was sarcasm - even the lowliest printer-ink changers call themselves a Project MAnager or Administrator or even worse, Engineer. hehe
I can't decide if you have a woeful IT department, or a woeful attitude...

As long as we get to keep Sophie Ellis Bextor.

Let me re-phrase that. As long as I get to keep Sophie Ellis Bextor. In my cellar / sex dungeon.

Shouldn't that be "so that a bunch of OAPs aren't forced onto the road to drive along at 17mph in their Honda Jazz or Toyota Yaris Verso"

And get funded 'treatment' on the NHS?

No touch soap dispensers, in case you catch your own hand germs when you are about to wash your hands. FFS.

Cancer, and specifically children's cancer.

Why evolution saw fit to make this a thing I don't know. Horrible horrible disease.

The homeopathy society booked The Cure to play their Xmas party. But The Cure couldn't make it, so Placebo turned up instead. Fortunately no one spotted the difference.

Agree with the sentiment but cancer is a product of evolution which itself is a process of trial and error. Who's to say that evolution will not eventually rid us of it?
