I live in the SE and my nearest Size is in Brixton 50+ miles away, they have nothing online and I'm not paying £200+ from ebay.
I will wait for the trimm stars now and hope they are in a nice colourway, have you heard much about them?
Ah, that’s a ballache. I can always grab you a pair if they have your size next time I’m in... let me know...I will wait for the trimm stars now and hope they are in a nice colourway, have you heard much about them?
Yeah not heard much about them, was chatting to the guys in Size about what’s coming and they didn’t mention anything

I'm just going off instagram (adidas1972), apparently Jan 26th is the first release of them, size exclusive.

I like this thread, no judgment just appreciation of sneaks
Same here. There are things I wouldn’t wear personally, but that’s more my style. I can appreciate a nice trainer - Jordan’s are a classic example for me. Would never own a pair, but can understand how people love them. Those Levi collabs coming are awesomejoshcowin said:
Did you get the common projects? Have you paid over £300 for a pair of trainers, and if so were they that much better than a £150 pair?
Not got those yet.And yes I have bought expensive trainers before I have 2 pairs of Valentino rock runners that i bought in the sales RRP is about £450 on each pair.
To say the quality, finish and material is better then £150 Nike airs is an understatement they are far more superior, but the key for me is to get them in the sales rather the pay full RRP.
Having said all that I still can't occasionally resist the odd pair Nikes.
I've now come to the conclusion that rather then buying loads of £80-150 trainers I buy a few but expensive better quality one.
Currently torn between these classic common projects:
OR these outragous Alexander McQueen:
Both are on sale at similar prices.

I went to an event last night and saw some woman wearing these. Looked awful and cost over £300.
Talking of sales, I buy most of my clothes when on sale. I wanted a coat in November and it was £185, I went to the store, tried it on and decided I liked it but would wait for the sale. Sale came along and they're currently on 60% off so I picked up the coat. Cost me £80 including postage. Do this with mostly all my clothes and shoes except the stuff I get from my local boutique as he heavily discounts everything for me anyway or when stuff is limited run.

I've always thought for years that they look nice. Thing is there is no way I would pay £300 for something like that, not even £100. There must be a cheaper alternative no? I have a pair of low chuck taylor ii's in all white and love them. Though i kind of want an all-white something in leather. I'm rather tempted in just getting a pair of classic k-swiss leather ones in white. I owned a pair as a teen and loved them. sadly they're too worn out and ugly from me applying lots of the kiwi white shoe shine sponge thing.Gassing Station | The Lounge | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
