Anyone into trainers/sneakers?

If they're rare and in boxed, unworn condition then you have the potential to make good money.
If they're worn, lacking the box and nothing particularly rare or interesting then there's zero market.
Obviously a sliding scale between the two but to make money you really have to know what you're buying and they have to be pretty much immaculate. To be honest, a collection of 95s and cheap Jordans is unlikely to make you the next Richard Branson.

Just to clarify, I’m (he’s) not looking for profit. Just a quick easy buck.
They’re in pretty good condition - there seems to be a market (oddly) for used trainers on sites like Depop (which seems to be all the rage for teenagers.). He’s used it before to buy so I know the site is fairly legit, well, if you know what you’re doing, although I was reluctant to pay up because of it’s peer to peer nature without returns and guarantees etc.
The trainers themselves are all pretty much unmarked and come with all the boxes.
I’m guessing £25-30 for the 95’s? They’re completely unmarked, and pretty rare but not really really special. (Ultra Jacquard) Threadists might remember me buying them for him and posting it on here. I’ve seen the 2005 Rastafari pack sell for £160, so this seems a pretty modest figure.

Sleeper what size is your lad ?
He’s wearing 8.5 at the moment, he’s 15. He’s listed all the pairs under “make me an offer”.The size 8 AM95 has just been offered £40 but being the greedy plank I am I got him to ask for £45 and now the sale appears to have fallen through. Now the boy’s not talking to me
It’s not actually “completely flawless”. A bit of the black lacquer (6mm) on the rear air bubble on the right shoe has peeled off, and there are similar but smaller (2mm) marks on the two front bubbles and the bloke thinks it’s prone to a puncture...in reality it peeled soon after it was purchased (he showed me then) and lasted a whole year without puncturing. The air bubbles are still firm, similar to my 97 bubbles. The bloke however seems to have gone cold on the idea of purchasing the shoe so we’ll have to wait for the next buyer.

So how weird is this, it doesn’t actually bother me, it’s more on the colour. But the picture is actually of the infrared OG colourway that they accidentally put on the app. So not actually women’s colourway.
At the same time, it doesn’t really bother me, I’d wear women’s trainers if they looked class. Did you know the women’s 98s Gundam colourway were more like the originals than the men’s? So they were the ones to have if you have dainty feet like me
I have a fair few womens air max, some great colorways in women's shoes. In fact I was wearing a pair of Air Max 90 womens yesterday. If I am looking to radomly buy a new pair I will always check the womens section just to see what there is. My airmax 90 mens and 90 womens appear to have nothing different, I am a 7.5 in both, both fit the same the only difference I can see i the W on the box.At the same time, it doesn’t really bother me, I’d wear women’s trainers if they looked class. I know i've gone on about them before but I think ill definately treat myself to a pair of the red ones below. at the end of the month. now i just need to think of some goal to do to make the treat worthwhile.
I think some time later i'll buy myself some supestars, no idea why, maybe its the 90s hip hop reference. I hated them for decades because of that ugly weird rubber on the toe.
