Yeah Lance might be into the Forest Hills, I really want a pair. I’ll not doubt pick up some Spezial bits, but I don’t just buy for buying sake. Will depend on colourways etc

But I can easily swerve it all, the neon 95s are coming and I smashed mine to bits years ago (I think that’s what the above comment about the Volt/grey ones are???), I quite fancy some more Diadora or Saucony, there’s the Sean 97/1 and then we’re going to Laces Out Fest on 24th March too...

I’m quite good at buying different bits that suit my style, as you can probably gather. I don’t just stick to one brand or style, just no hi tops (though I did try and get some Jordan 3 free throws, didn’t try hard enough)

Not sure on the date, but they’ve been released at atmos already (Japan) so probably won’t be long. Can’t see them selling out to be honest, but I’ll be getting a pair

Dip into this thread constantly, have a decent collection, nothing too rare or limited, mainly Nike/Jordans, will try and get a pic of what i wear day to day - rest are all in the loft whilst I redecorate some bedrooms

Cheers Roy, one of my all time faves from my late teenage years. Hoping for a pair of the wotherspoons, maybe some safari QS too but I'd like to see them first

I'm on the lookout for original Diadora Borg Elite in gold, the kangaroo skin. I had several pairs in the early 80's when in 6th form, replaced mistakenly for a pair of Adidas trim trab in pale blue. Any clues from you trainer aficionados?

There's a pair on eBay, but they're silver, 80scasualclassics.co.uk is worth a shot

The insole in Forest Hills is st. Great looking trainers though with the the yellow sole.

It’s been a while since I’ve had forest hills, but my recollection is they were quite comfy, maybe once broken in???

And I think you’re getting the Spezial range mixed up with the spezial trainer. Spezial is a range looking at adidas heritage and taking clues from the past to create their range. Gary Aspden is the main man on this (check out his Instagram)

The Safari are a classic, but personally not a massive fan. I just can’t see what I’d wear them with that would work...

See Danny’s (royhstino) post above regarding the spezial range!

Google/ YouTube search Gary Aspden, his trip to Argentina is something spezial (see what I did there).

All started 4/5 years ago with limited run releases. Basically in March he will drop 5-7 trainers and up to 10 pieces of clothing all based on past Adidas models and also people who are into and influential in terrace culture/Adidas now!

Hope that makes sense gives you an idea!

Well I don't like the air force 270's so returning them. The toe box seemed very thin and could basically see my big toe all the time well I will try the safari qs next
