I have those in green for running in. You seriously wear those causally?
Yep, have Nike free run 5.0s in other fluruo colours also. Normally I run in Asics, but just got some of their casual trainers ordered. Asics Gel Lyte IIIs Valentines edition. Will bank up some pics when they arrive.

Where do you all buy your trainers from?

Me -

Schuh, Office, Offspring, Size? and Kicks - so far.

Where am I missing?
JD, adidas online, End, Hip, Sneakers N Stuff... the list is almost endless. Depends what trainers I want, then I'll research where is getting them and what the chances are of grabbing a pair

I use the sole supplier and the drop date websites/twitter feeds loads

Also, the sole restocks is great for, well, restocks, and U.K. Sneaker deals (both on twitter) for picking things up

Not sure if it's been mentioned on this thread before but I've just finished reading (listening to audio book more accurately) to Shoe Dog by Phil Knight, the founder of Nike and I found it really interesting. If you have a passing interest in trainers/business it is well worth looking up.

Just back from the US. Some of these from the Nike outlet (casual NOT for Running in):

That was the chosen/official colour scheme for Rio 2016

I like them, but I wouldn't choopse thowse colorus for casual. Running would be fine

Going off topic, to the people that run in these, what are your thoughts? Fast? Cushioned?

I swing between both.

A couple of years ago, I did the Berlin Big25 in fast flats (Asics). This year, I'm doing it in Adidas Boost with more cushioning.

Sometimes I really get into flats, but I'm in one of my cushioned phases, especially after discovering Boost.

Anyone any luck with the Yeezys? Didn't get any myself but a subscriber sent us his pair to review, which I thought was pretty cool

Yet again no luck. I am on the app and instantly clicking the button... but all sold out. Robots are killing the process for real fans, much like concert tickets.

Said robot owners then blatantly flaunt the hundreds of pairs on Instagram, before using a reseller to move them on at 3/4 times RRP.

What is the deal with these Yeezie ? I have seen a few guys in Portofino wearing them ? They seem to be sold out online. Counterfeits are already being quite invading the underworld.

They're just a massively hyped shoe, designed by Kanye West, but only made in limited numbers. So people go mad for them, they resell for more than they cost (supply demand thing) and that's why people fake them...

thanks for the this. Logical then that counterfeiting is sliding into this high margin product.

Any opinions on the Adidas Originals Tubular Shadow as a casual trainer? Looking for something comfy I can wear at weekends, ideally grey, and like the look of these - will wait to see if any offers come up though, not sure I want to spend the £75 currently being asked.
