The Iraqui guys at my local hand wash love Yeezys.
Trab, you've already felt the need to tell us all how horrible you think the Yeezys are, and now you're making the point of telling us that Iraqi guys at your local car wash love them. You also said the same thing a few pages ago about Waffle Racers (I remember this coz I was thinking about getting a pair at the time)
So, you don't like certain trainers, that's cool, but how about keeping your negativity to yourself, eh?
Oh and the car wash thing? Don't be a dick.

I just find it quite amusing. The guys at my hand wash are great - but christ, they're well overdue a visit by the fashion police. Wet-look tracksuit tops, those odd joggers which are really skinny at the ankle and Yeezys or similar. You also said the same thing a few pages ago about Waffle Racers (I remember this coz I was thinking about getting a pair at the time)

If you don't like me ripping the piss over the odd pair of shoes, you don't need to read my posts. It all contributes to lively discussion, rather than it being loads of people posting 'like' and '+1' every time something is posted. It's not like I only post negatives. Stop being so sensitive.

Any opinions on the Adidas Originals Tubular Shadow as a casual trainer? Looking for something comfy I can wear at weekends, ideally grey, and like the look of these - will wait to see if any offers come up though, not sure I want to spend the £75 currently being asked.
I can thoroughly recommend, they are a great shoe. A slight step above in terms of comfort (Style is up to you) is the EQT... I have both EQT and Tubular Shadow in heavy rotation at the moment and will be buying more when the time comes. Not found anything as comfortable as an EQT in a long time, closely followed by the Tubular.g3org3y said:
As a teenager Air Max Triax USA were the trainers everyone wanted.
Never got a pair.
Same here, and I can't even get a pair now. I have one leg shorter than the other and all my shoes are subjected to a bandsaw to insert a lift. I'm not sure that would work for Nike Air! I am in Florida at the moment and have bought a couple of pairs of normal Nikes from the outlet, but they have some really nice Airs which I can only dream of Never got a pair.
When I was young I saved up for a pair of Adidas Torsion (I think they had a Kevlar bar in the middle of the sole); I hid them from my mum but one day she found them and took them to the hospital to get "modified" - they went from being the coolest trainers in school to being an object of derision (until I took a bread knife to them to make my own "modifications).

Love inikis, got the red ones myself, and the guy I do the videos with has 3 pairs https://youtu.be/zU1Sm5TaNeY
Just back from a long weekend in Southampton / Portsmouth and managed to get time away from the little one and the wife to check out some trainer shops. Nike and Addidas outlets at Gunwharf Quays, JD Sports (more choice than here), Office and Size? (first time at a Size?). Being a regular to Southampton back in the day as the missus studied there I was over every month or so for 3 years and remembered each time I came back with trainers.
The outlet stores were a joke, nothing good at all but I think I have been spoiled with the outlets in the States (AM90 for $45 last time I was there in October).
Was hoping to pick up two pairs of something for me and a pair or two for the little one. No where had the little ones size in anything I liked and the only thing I liked was the Nike Air Max 1 Ultra 2.0 Flyknit Uni Red and Black but they were £120 or £125 in Size? so I passed.
Ended up getting the same ones on Endclothing with some other AM90 for £118.17 delivered (joys of not paying VAT), for reference with VAT the Nike Air Max 1 Ultra 2.0 Flyknit Uni red and black were £79 at End compared to the £120 / £125 at Size?
So I have these incoming
