Anyone into trainers/sneakers?
Discussion
I live in Adidas Gazelles.
I'm a funny bugger though, I much prefer gum soled variants over white soled variants, and don't like to pay much more than £50 a pair. I am a size 10 and have worn both size 10s and 10.5s and seem to be fine with either despite what people say about the small sizing.
I'm struggling to find a cheap pair at the moment though and wonder if i'm being too closed minded.
What else could I look for? I have recently discovered Munchens and Bermudas which I like, but not quite as much as Gazelles.

I might give these a swerve. Love the V but not sure on this colourway.

Loads of options. You sound like you have very similar taste to me! If you like these get them! worth the extra!

As for models to look out for - Handball top, Indoor super, Tabaco, Adidas 350, Samba, Stan Smith, Spezials.
I have a couple pairs of New Yorks, they are vintage runners. I also like Marathan TR.
I would wait as the sale sections on the main websites haven't changed for a while, I recon they will drop prices soon.
Are you aware of the Spzl line? Worth looking at!
Edit to add links -

https://www.sneakersnstuff.com/en/product/33074/ad...
https://www.sneakersnstuff.com/en/product/32839/ad... - these are really well made, nice materials and nice box, bit nicer than a standard pair of trainers.
If you are a gazelle man - https://www.sneakersnstuff.com/en/product/28813/ad...
That's from one site, there are obviously loads to look at.

Thanks Josh! Just been looking on Amazon, and google shopping. Founds lots of trainer retailers I didn't know existed. If you like these get them! worth the extra!

I'll have a look into your recommendations in more detail at lunchtime, but I like the Indoor Supers - tempted by a khaki pair from the Adidas outlet on eBay for £52. I wear black jeans 70% of the time, but sometimes navy - both of which the khaki ones will work well with, but not sure how they'd go with light blue jeans? The blue ones you posted are a safer bet in that sense.
To give you a better understanding, what I like about Gazelles, especially with the gum sole is that they looks reasonably classy I think and don't scream "trainer" if you know what I mean? I like Stan Smiths, used to wear them as a teen, but they are a bit too "trainer" for work. We have a very relaxed dress code, but I don't like to push it too much, so wear Gazelles to work everyday with dark jeans and casual shirts. I've had purple/blue and white, and blue/grey/red with matching stripes etc. I like the Trimm Masters, but given I only typically rotate 2 pairs, colour wise they're a bit limiting.
I also feel due to the materials Gazelles last really well, don't make my feet sweat, and never get an odour, so i've stuck with them. Are Sambas/Indoor Supers/Spzls etc. similar in that sense? I suspect the cheaper Campus would fall down there.

Campus, never bought a pair to me they are basic trainers. Sambas are well made my fet get hot in them, the Spzl line it depends what you get as there is quite a range of trainers in that section. I also wear Jeans everyday, so all my trainers have to look good with jeans!
These are probably my favourite pair of SPZL's I like them so much I bought 2 pairs.
Just picked up these
My trainer shopping is few and far between (unlike some of you on here!) and it's taken me a while to decide on these.
Also need to mention the great service from END. I ordered them on Friday morning, expecting them to arrive Tuesday or Wednesday. Got a message saying they would deliver them on Saturday, so next day for £2.95 postage, great! Waited in for the DPD delivery then got a message saying they couldn't deliver as no one was home and they had left a card! I had been following the tracking and they hadn't even got within 20mins of my house so I think the driver just decided to go home early. DPD live chat didn't work, nor their online form/email thing. So on Sunday at 5pm I went to email END, just to prep them for Monday morning to try and get it redelivered (or worst case I was thinking they might have 'disappeared' with the DPD driver as the tracking on DPD website had no further updates as to where they had gone). Anyway, saw the live chat on END website and there was someone there to actually communicate with at 5pm on a Sunday - totally unexpected. He sorted the redelivery straight away and also refunded me my original postage costs without any prompting

Do you know the 9000 thing on the trainer?

I like the ultra tech's, however I know someone will ask me about them and I'll say there a dragon ball z colab, and I know nothing about it. All my mates know I don't like that sort of thing. So think I will give them a miss.

Alpha Edge 4D in plenty of sizes here! First 4D not to sell out immediately I think.

I can’t imagine either of these dragonball z pairs will be hard to pick up. The ZX was the pair everyone was hyped for
