Maybe try half a size up. NB 520's come up slightly small IMO.

Personally I think the crossover/mashup models are really hard to nail. It must be part of the Wotherspoons really thought out design and colour blending as to why it’s so popular. Other designs struggle more.

The thing is - for me - when the BW first came out it was basically a plush runner. With thick, velvety padded colour and simple leather lines and a thick white midsole. I think it’s a subtle, unobtrusive shoe. But the 97 and it’s midsole is so well known that designwise I think it dominates the look of the shoe. So I see the BW/97s but I think there’s mainly a 97 in front of me not BW...but that might just be me!

These certainly do look excellent though, and subtle-ish - maybe a light coloured trouser would be the right pairing?

They are a pretty decent hybrid. I think that the addition of the gold inside the air bubble compliments them nicely. I kinda prefer the aesthetics of these over the 97 uppers too.
