Reports of a Wolverhampton woman being killed by debris.
Yep, right in the busiest bit of the city centre too, what a surreal thing to happen frownhttp://www.expressandstar.com/news/emergency-servi...

Not too bad where I am just outside Leeds but I feel for the people of York who now live at the seaside.

I was going to york the other day no wonder i did not find it.

It must have been quite a wind to blow it all the way there!

Some passer-by just threw some plants pots into my garden. Maybe he was concerned they would blow into the traffic but why just chuck them into someone's garden! General public are odd folk at times.

Sat waiting for mY delayed flight expecting for it to be delayed again. The last set lingus dub to man seems to have diverted back....

Much quieter airport but our local is Southampton and very little has made it in today. A few ended up in Bournemouth. Looks like a Ryanair is going into LGW on a fuel pan or mayday having tried at Stansted.

My favourite tree has been taken by Doris. Thankfully it was only a little one didn't take anything else with it just collapsed in the garden. I've been out and chopped it in to car sized bits for disposal tomorrow.

So sorry to see your house being damaged Chris, looks like a fantastic property. Hopefully your insurers act quickly.

I'm feeling very glad that we were on a ferry in the North Sea on Monday night and not today!

My fence is now only good for kindling. Took out a bit of wall as well as it came down. Back gate is on condition red and has been bodged and will hopefully stay secure although I'm not sure it will last the night.

Anyone know a decent fence replacement guy in Essex?

That must be a bummer after a 10 hour flight.
Diverted to Gatwick. That's a bummer.

Probably a nice ride in the washing machine at FL190 for half an hour too!

The neighbour who I recently offered some old fence panels to (which he turned down), so that he could mend his fence has lost a panel, with another about to go. Trying not to feel too smug.

Another neighbour has lost 3 panels.

My recently replaced DIY fence hasn't budged - good timing on that, as the old one I believe would have come down.

I suspect that they hadn't screwed it to the slabs/paving. Been looking at a smaller version of one of those.

Just been speaking to a flight attendant. Apparently a easyJet held for 50 mins trying to into Isle Of Man this morning. It diverted to Gatwick after the first officer was sick...
