SuperbI'd have loved to have seen him get the part of M in the James Bond franchise instead of Fiennes. He'd have owned it.
More Charles Dance pervage: I saw him as Coriolanus at the RSC in the 90s. He had to get his kit off a bit and was well buff back then. There was no actual chappy action, I hasten to add.
By contrast in the posh Brit actor stakes, someone who is a right knobhead is Jeremy Irons. Mucho up himself. What is it with people called Jeremy and being dicks? Clarkson, Corbyn, you name it.
Non posh Brit actor Mark Rylance is cool.
David Tennant is cool. His current gig as "Don Juan in Soho" at Wyndham's Theatre is well worth the ticket price.

I read Dave Grohl's "Day in the Life" in the Sunday Times last week. Summary: "World's Coolest man in "has lifestyle of World's Coolest Man" Shocker".
According to the blurb, the average Dave Grohl day involves him doing what the World's Coolest Man would do on an average "being the World's Coolest Man" sort of day.
I do wonder if his publicist may have been trying just a teensy bit too hard.

I was amused that Josh Homme kicked him out of the studio when he arrived drunk and annoying while QOTSA were recording.According to the blurb, the average Dave Grohl day involves him doing what the World's Coolest Man would do on an average "being the World's Coolest Man" sort of day.

He was photographed in the crowd at a Metallica gig a few weeks ago just being normal.
At Latitude (AKA Poshstock) in July, a rumour circulated that Teresa May was going to helicopter in, hoping to do a GlastoCorbyn. If she had turned up, she would have been beaten to death with Prosecco bottles and Quinoa burgers, so she wisely stayed away.
The next day, a rumour went around that the Foo Fighters were going to do a surprise gig. This would have been a mercy, as the headliners were the utterly, appallingly fake and rubbish Mumford and Sons (their rotten set only enlivened by fifteen minutes of awesome from Baaba Mal). But, no Foos.
Oh well, at least World's Coolest Woman contender Alison Goldfrapp was there and in form.

Dave Grohl is a documented AIDS denier and is no doubt responsible for many deaths. True story.
From what I've read, he made a mistake on one occasion of allowing the band to be associated with a woman who wrote a book that denied the link to HIV (who has since died of AIDS). That is wrong, but not the same as being an AIDS-denier.Zod said:
