The trend of ansaphone messages being ignored

I only have a mobile and got fed up with all the scam calls so installed Truecaller and it also sends all withheld numbers to vioce mail.
As a driver I find text and SMS etc a PITA is I have to stop to read them ,I have a very good Bluetooth system for speach communication.
All those that whinge about us not replying to written messages seem to forget that not everyone is perched infront of a screen all day or due to work constraints can access messages .
I find that I can deal with most things with a phonecall of two minuets rather than several messages over hours or days .

Each medium has its place. My suggestion to OP is one call and one text message.
