Maturity levels I would say we are pretty much the same. I've always been a bit of an 'old man' and she seems to still have the giddy youthful aspect about her.

She is higher up the career path than I'am, which is where it gets a bit tricky. She is a manager in my company, not my direct line manager but she line manages certain aspects of me.

The day after my 16th birthday ( 
I had a sesh with a 29 year old (dental nurse worked for my Dad). Next older lady was in my early twenties she was 33, then another 11 years older than me, then married a lady 11 years older than me and now I am married a second time to a lady who is 3 years younger.
A mans peak of sexual need is late teens, a ladies is early 30's. Just go for it fella. You'll enjoy the ride and never look back!

Heh heh. I have it the other way around.
My other half is only a year younger than me, but does look much younger than her age and is seriously attractive - kinda like a softer looking young longer haired Halle Berry we are told. We also get the "Oi Sinnita!" drunks at the local pub
. She has perfect well maintained (expensively creamed) brown skin, no lines anywhere, no cellulite or similar age related blemishes, beautiful facial features and teeth and a petite but feminine figure - hence the young looks IYSWIM. She is bright, fun, very current in fashion and music and I am extremely proud of her and lucky to have her around.
Anyway, to the plot... she is always getting chatted up by late 20s early 30s lads - she works at a university. Fortunately for me she is very loyal with good morals too! When she tells them at they are young enough to be her sons and she has shoes older than them, the questions really start and as it goes on, nobody can believe that she is actually a pensioner! Ok, she did retire from the NHS a little early... but it is funny to see or hear about her trials when I am not there.
OP. I can assure you that for some people who look after themselves, age difference should not be a concern. I am currently helping her blow away the Fitbit challenges with my daughters and their mates every time one gets issued, and that active and competitive approach carries on to other hobbies and scenarios too.
