Back in the day (1991 to be exact), I was a little shy around women and ended up scouring the lonely ads column in a local paper. Eventually met a girl my age (21) and embarked on a relationship of sorts with her, not much physical action but close! Her parents had several horses in a field behind the house and E, as we'll call her, taught me the basics of horse riding. Enjoyed the relationship but it was all a bit dull.

E had a sister, D, who was four years younger and much hotter. Used to come into the kitchen in long t shirts and nothing else when I was around, a real tease. One day, I made a move but she felt it was wrong while I was still going out with her sister so it ended before it begun.

I was considering what should be done for the best when their Mum started hanging round a lot with us. She was very fit, also rode horses regularly so had thighs like G Clamps and quite attractive. Married, hotter than a camel's armpit, but pretty much separated as the husband worked away a lot and they didn't get on. One day, invited me across for some reason I can't remember, no kids around, and for the next three hours, gave me the time of my life. Must have been mid-forties I guess but good grief, what a morning!! As a result, had a six month fling with her as her divorce went through and enjoyed every minute, all safe of course.

Taught me a lot and the age difference never even entered my mind.....fizzled out in the end as I changed jobs and they then moved away but great fun while it lasted.

It's a funny thing, really. Age is metric based on the man-made construct of years. If you really think about it, it seems bizarre that, socially speaking, there would be raised eyebrows when a 60-year old dates a 20-year old, where if we removed our self-created system from it, it'd just be a person dating another person.

Naturally we have to accept that the younglings need a degree of protection but perhaps we should just ditch the whole concept of age after 18 or 21. That'd be amazing! After 21, no more birthdays, no more social awkwardness and just people being with other people, being happy, being social and having unabashed monkey-love in the back of a Ford Granada in a pub car park.

I may not have thought this through completely.

That would be nice - but I can't imagine most of our Mrs' would be happy not getting a present every year..

That's just it! You could -- and strap yourselves in lads, this could be a bumpy ride -- get her presents on a non-determined set date and do it out of love or need rather than social convention.

Sorry I forgot to make an update.

We went out Saturday night and had a really good night, great conversation and we got on really really well, we have a lot in common. The night could have ended with much more but feel like I want to take this slower. Again all this week we have been getting on really well.

Sorry to disappoint everyone by not being able to provide any outrageous events, but I'm sure that will come....biggrin
Go for it sir. She's in her 30s and she will know what the duty of a woman is (housework and ironing your shirts)

Go for it OP, make sure you bag it though.

My first experience of an older woman was when I was 19 or 20. She was in her early 40's, and she made it perfectly clear what she expected of me. I went round 3 or 4 times and then she dropped me as quickly as she had picked me up. Oh boy, did I learn a lot, she was quite the picture with her kit off , and she sure knew how to use what she had.

Fair had me buzzing, the first Mother/daughter sketch surpassed it though.

I was lucky enough to have quite a number of encounters with elder women in my 20's, yet strangely enough the main OH's in my life were all 6 years younger than me.

.....kiss on the cheek? On the lips? Did you finger her? Pull a single boob out of her bra and suckle on it?

......
These are the minimum normally expected actions, I hope the OP did at least one of them to her. My mate once got a very badly bruised finger when going for the goodnight finger....
Had she been practising her pelvic floor excersizes?
God only knows, something odd happened, that's for sure. I saw the same girl several years later and she was a right tart, putting out for most of the boys.

Funny you should mention her, said incident in my post happened down under, people all around the same age. But no, it wasn't.

The British are rubbish at dating and the thread confirms it!

No need for the awkward dance over many weeks. Just tell her straightup she is hot and you wanna date.

WOW! Some of you are so disrespectful!!! How would you feel (no matter what age they were) if someone spoke about your daughter or sister like that? I presume you wouldn't like it?
Age has no bounds, respect for another in my book is paramount. But hey, what do I know...

It would have to be my mother for a fair comparison.

When i was 21 i was wooed by a gourgeous 33 year old on a night out with my mates. 29 years later (feels like 50 years) we're still together, 'but' at some imperceivable point she's turned into my bloody mother! Not great!
