That was more disrespectful to (Sunderland) & classless for me. That said, it's more or less what I'd expect from that club. At least they've stopped shooting work experience kids, so I suppose it's progress after a fashion.

How could it have been disrespectful to Sunderland when they agreed to go along with it, any decent club would have said fk off, what else would you expect from scum such as Terry.

Using the term "Guard of Honour" in relation to John Terry makes my stomach turn.

The radio this morning suggested 26 is his squad number?

ah must be a football thing, doesn't seem cringeworthy to me considering how long he has been there.

You don't stop a game midway through to pander to someone's ego. Others will want to do it now.

Tributes before and after game if need be.

But during? No!

Didn't know that, I take it back. Certainly disrespectful to the game though. & utterly ste thing to do in any event. Before or after fine. During? never.

And a vegetable "patch".

And chickens.
What's wrong with growing vegetables and having chickens?!
Nothing. It's just that about three out of four couples on Escape To The Country say this.

I've done both myself. The vegetables got eaten by everything from caterpillars to cows, but was interesting. As for chickens - brilliant. Hilarious creatures. Great characters, too, to the extent that mass production of chickens has bothered me ever since.
Ah I see where you are coming from.

Couldn't agree more about chickens.

Any thread flemke is involved with.

It's not his fault necessarily but the people who fawn all over him.

It's scarily sycophantic.

The enormously detailed conclusions people draw from moments of grainy film on certain conspiracy threads.

Also I am certain at one point someone said that they had been 'investigating' a certain incident - when it became apparent that by 'investigating' he meant 'reading books its covered in'. That made me wince a little*

  • however I am perfectly happy to accept that as a figment of my imagination if it didn't happen. It's just in the back of my mind

Lamborghini Huracan Performante review thread.

Poster says you'd better off with a Caterham. The Performante owners will use them to crawl round London showing off.

Such clichéd cringeworthy bks.

I agree. I'll also add anything that Rambo Lambo says. One of the most boring contributors this forum has ever seen.

I'm amazed he's still a member.

Repetitive posting which winds up other members is against the rules apparently.
