Most of them really dont need a filter to make them looks like a dog
Quite so. I think it's reverse anthropomorphism. Disney has offered many female animals that look cute. Ergo, the distaff side reason that becoming animal-like makes them cuter.Edited by thebraketester on Sunday 28th May 17:08
As men like a challenge though...Snapcrap or whomever should offer a less accessible filter. Female honey badger?
The irony is, half the female profiles on POF complain about blokes only having photos with sunglasses on, or of a car etc. And yet most womens profiles have pics with stupid snapchat filters, their dog, some poxy poster about what love really means / how you should treat a woman / how lucky you'd be to have her / etc. etc. etc.
Oh - and the odd curve ball of 50 year old women who have profile pics of themselves in their underwear.
The dating world is a strange place......

Also some women post photos of the seaside or other tourist places that they've presumably been to. They're not in the photo just the scenery.Oh - and the odd curve ball of 50 year old women who have profile pics of themselves in their underwear.

O/T Some women write that they expect more than "Hey there" or "How are you" in the guy's first message and yet that is what the women write in their first message.
As a late adopter of Facebook I'm only just discovering this stuff. Luckily not too many of my friends post this kind of thing, but it doesn't stop them 'liking' their friends posts, so I can't avoid it.
If it's not weird animal parts superimposed, it's some sort of flower or fairy crap. Or failing that it is the usual pout into the camera.
Simply attention seeking crap, they're looking for people to 'like' their latest photo or comment on how great they look.

It's a confidence thing. Same as a lot of women can't bear to be seen in public/photographed without a layer of slap on their faces. Women are often judged and compared much more on their looks (ironically, usually more by other women) than men. Even really pretty girls are often self conscious, think they look terrible without make up etc. So hiding behind a snapchat filter is just an extension to that really.
