Besides not being able to afford one, I wouldn't buy one if I had the dosh.

Looks are always subjective,so to give us an idea where your coming from, post a pic of your latest squeeze.
Looks like its just you I like them, myself.
However, I was not sure about the DB11 when it first appeared and if i was lucky enough to be able to buy one i would go for it in all black as i feel the rear diffuser takes away some of the shape when the colour is broken up. It's grown on me after spotting an all black one a few months ago. Having said that, i just don't think it will age well.
Didn't used to like the wedge Lagondas or the original Newport DBS but now love them both as the looks that once put me off now appeal to me.
Back in the NP Vanquish and 4.3 Vantage days i always overlooked the DB9. It seemed overshadowed by the other two. Now, i feel when compared to todays cars it looks very ellegant and non fussy and i've changed my opinion on it totally.

Aesthetics are, of course, totally subjective and there is not 'right' or 'wrong'.
However in this case, sir, you are just plain wrong
One-77 is a wonderful, wonderful thing. Everything people love about the AM design language - big grill, swooped-back headlights, side gills, slim hips, wide, purposeful haunches, short overhangs - is all there on One-77 but just turned up to 11. Or 77.
You can keep your P1s, LaFerraris and 918s. Money no object, for me, One-77 is the ultimate.
I mean, just LOOK at it

It's a little like steak - those who prefer it medium well or well done think it's a matter of personal preference......they are however simply wrongHowever in this case, sir, you are just plain wrong

As you say, ONE 77 is stunning
Comparing it to P1 etc is a little more difficult IMO. If we are talking looks, then yes of course it's more beautiful. However it's only really a hypercar because of it's price. It wouldn't see which way an F12 went or for that matter, a contemporary at the time 599 GTO
It's price is based on beauty and rarity but that's no bad thing. Look how well they are doing with projects like Vanquish Zagato - it's only priced the way it is because of rarity and looks.

Like most Astons (and maybe Valkyrie will be the one that breaks the mould), One-77 is nowhere near its perceived competitive set when it comes to performance. It's why people buy Nissan GTRs, 911 Turbos, McLarens etc over an AML equivalent.I guess my "money no object" scenario was based on that intangible criterion of "desirability' which for me is a blend of performance, beauty, noise, brand etc, and this is where the One-77 outscores the hybrid hypercars (again, for me). And of the "holy trinity', I think the Porsche for me is the most 'desirable'

If ONE 77 was launched today, no doubt it would not have the same problems selling the last few which were encountered at the time

I think it's the grooves across the doors on the '77 put me off. Of course, a nod's as good as a wink to a blind bat...say no more!
I wouldnt turn one down if offered one!
Matt.
A few months ago we visited our local dealer when they had an exhibition of Zagato cars from DB4 on. In the service room that day was...
I didn't notice it as first as the LM was always one of my favourite cars and a few metres away they had this...
Of the modern cars we saw that day I think this was my favourite...
