I thought he was pretty cool in civil war , a lot my savage (warrior) than the rest of them. The trailer looks pretty strong and it will be interesting to see how an african country is portrayed as the worlds most advanced nation in modern media.

WOW indeed
I wonder if Martin Freeman will become the new Phil Coulson,in all films, although IIRC the character was a general in the earlier hulk films/comics

I've only just realised Andy Serkis is one of the characters, wouldn't be so bad if I hadn't seen Age of Ultron several times!

Looks like another hit for the MCU - can't wait.

So "purple" Black Panther vs "yellow" Black Panther then biggrin

Still be watching it though, even if it does look a bit formulaic by now.

Yup. So formulaic.

An almost entirely black cast set in an African secret nation we know nothing about with a story about the ascension of kings.

Not long now.

Beginning to feel that Andy Serkis' performance is going to be the one to watch!

I'm struggling to gel with the main star, not sure what it is but I don't think he even comes across that well in interviews. Hopefully that'll change after seeing the film.

Looking forward to a new(to film) superhero rather than reboots/sequels of the established players

This is what I fear too....the blueprint as laid down by Iron-Man and followed by some, not all of the MCU (Incredible Hulk, Ant-Man, Dr Strange).

But I have hopes for this.

As i'm off work went with the family and watched this.

As a Marvel movie very good. Not loads of space aliens but a very good marvel movie

It did niggle me a little a few comments "The Colonial" when talking about the only main white person in the movie and a few references about them vs Us (black and White). A shame as I feel more united "US" is needed in this type of movie

But on the whole if your a Marvel movie fan watch it. Some lovely visual effects and "banging" tunes

I never went to pick the bones, grumble about poor this or that. OMG it's not life like.
But to turn off from every day crap and loose myself in a Marvel movie

gets 8/10 for me. The review from my wife was she enjoyed it more than the latest Thor movie.

Saw this last night, really enjoyed it and defo worth a watch.

Great action and some good LOL humour; I thought Killmonger, Klaue and the army general nailed their performances.

8.5/10 for me :-D

Saw it Tuesday

Utter ste
I really mean it
So disappointed

How the hell its getting great reviews on Rotten Tomatoes I have no idea

Genuinely one of the worst Marvel films
I think I’ve been spoiled by Logan
As it was well acted, gritty , emotional

This was just utter b oll ocks

I managed to avoid seeing much in the trailers before I actually watched the film (which is not easy these days). I enjoyed it, but I was expecting it to be better than it was.
In some of the MCU films the action feels almost perfunctory, but here it was possibly the best thing about the film. I think I may have been expecting something similar to Kenneth Branagh’s Thor. Rivals competing for the throne of a nation, with the future of civilisation hanging in the balance. In theory that should have produced something better than what they delivered.
Having said that, the performances were good enough, the story was good enough, the action was good enough, and the CGI was good enough. So it was enough to keep an MCU fan happy for a couple of hours. But it won’t be in my ‘top 5 superhero blockbusters of the last 5 years’.

Also, I do plan to use the threat “one more word out of you and I will feed you to my children”.

Watched it this afternoon. Disappointed.

Someone above said some proper LOL moments?!! Our humour differs. It just didn’t pull it off, be it the script or the actors.

Martin Freeman was the best of a bad bunch.

This. Iron Man he is not. He just hasn’t the likeability other Superheroes before have had.

Sat for the two extra scenes at the end hoping they might have given it some credit. But still disappointed.

I can see this one is going to divide opinion.

It worked for me. Thought the characters were strong, the story hung together well and the vision of Wakanda was superb.
