How st are Tommy Tippie bottles.

The ones we've got are unusable. Due to their design with the removable teets without any sort of effective seal they just piss milk everywhere.

Total ste, straight in the bin.
I agree they are st ! The tongue tie practitioner we used said they were terrible too, we went for MAM in the end which also have a few flaws but in general are a lot better
The problems we have found with MAM are that the seals at the bottom can easily not be fully aligned meaning a frustrating outpouring of milk. Also they take longer to heat in the bottle warmer to the point that the outside of the bottle is about as warm as the surface of the sun.

We use a combination of the MAM and the avent natural ones.

You also can't tell how much milk is left as the measuring scale stops at 60ml... Not that useful for babies who are a pain with eating

Mrs is getting a call when beds are available to get induced tomorrow....I feel anxious, excited, clueless.....

Mind you I might as well sleep in the hospital car park, had to go up last week as the baby heart was running abnormally high (according to the midwife)....4 till 10pm I was waiting around outside, I think they could have at least had a waiting area surely its inhumane almost?

Don't worry, you will learn fast as a new Dad. From zero to hero in 12 weeks flat. Just be mentally prepared that if the missus is totally exhausted that you might be taking care of the baby for the first 48 hours.

We used MAM but went to Dr Browns bottles and found them a hell of a lot better.

I found this book amazing and a massive help as this thread recommended it to me.

Not sure if anyone would like to take over the batton. btw money goes to charity so I'm not after making money here

That was my thinking too. You'll learn real fast.

Never had an issue with them, and never had any leakage...
They're so bad I'm almost assuming they're missing parts, despite being new.

In the end we've gone straight to a cup.

I remember that stage....3 days in, we were thinking "don't know what all the fuss is about, this is quite easy".

It changed quite quickly...!

Minds mush after early induction on Monday and no unfortunate results...when she got to 2 or 3cm it was getting too much woth a back problem she has so had epidural.

Meds to get contractions working just wasn't getting there enough so it was a c section.

Three (or four) to get him out.....no surprise at 12lb 14!!!
