That's pretty cool if it's what I think - Harrier jet variable direction nozzle?

Yes it is. It's one of the rear 'hot' nozzles, with genuine Harrier soot still attached. The front two nozzles are cold on the Harrier, just using bled bypass air from the compressor.

Very subjective er, subject silly

I think these things I have are fairly cool but you might find them pretty naff and looking at the list, it seems a bit "hey, look at all my great stuff" but here goes anyway.

My 1911 Stainless Steel Colt 45. The design is over 100 years old but it still works great. It's the Hot Rod of pistols.

My 1956 Seeburg 100 Jukebox. Sometimes I think my IiPhone sounds better but I like seeing the records go round. It's mechanical porn.

My 2003 Harley Springer. Honestly, who rides a bike with the exposed front end based on the 1948 model? Er, me.

My Zippo. Classic design and a 50th birthday pressie from my daughter.

My racecar. Because it has a parachute.

My Omega Speedmaster Pro. Because Moonwatch.

I have a piston and rod from a Mercedes F1 engine (circa 2007) and a cut away cross section of the head from same. Both very cool and can even be used to show young relatives how engines work.

That or an Al Bean picture signed by him and Pete Conrad.

That upsets me as a purist (having owned 4 of them) but hell yeah, that's awesome. Details needed.
