You don't need to rob a bank nowadays, it's all done on the internet from your living room armchair.
This, why take the risk, sit on the beach in Thailand armed with a MacBook and a steady supply of cold beers. A few hours a day doing internet scams should bring in 10k a day. If you get organised and busy, easy 20k a day.

Little chance of getting caught and if you do, your getting a shorter stretch than you would for waving a shooter around a bank.
What scams are you going to run to bring in 10k-20k a day?!
It's risk versus reward that matters. No point blagging £30m in a diamond heist if you end up in jail.

The smart robber does it in such a way that they remain undetectable and live to enjoy the fruits of their labour, and what better than to do it from the comfort of your armchair, allegedly wink

I understand that you dont need a fast car but that you have two debadged small and ordinary japanese or korean cars, same colour. Cars that people wouldnt identify. Both cars start off from the same place at the same time and take slightly different routes.

Not much point having a fast car when the good guys have CCTV and police radio communications, not many cars that are faster than a radio message.

Got it! Vickers Light Tank MKVIA circa 1937, the 3rd King's Own Hussars maye still have one.

Or this, the Polish PL-01

It'd take a bit more than a stinger to stop these.
Decent load space - Check
Powerful engine - Check
Immune to Stingers - Check
Ability to blend in to traffic - er...

This I think you will agree, is perfect.
Old enough not to attract attention but with loads of v8 grunt to get you away from the rozzers.
Plus, 4 wheel drive and a little bit of ground clearance for the kerbs.

Not where I live. In the latest one just 100 yards from my office, the gentlemen, possibly of a nomadic persuasion, used a crew cab pickup and (I think) an Audi S3. Both were found days later dumped (by complete coincidence) quite near to a 'people of a nomadic persuasion' site.

I probably should have said "it can all be done".

rs6 or an evo 8/9 - there's a reason why an insane amount of robberies have used evo's and successfully escaped the police (then some of the police starting using them themselves) / so many evos are targeted by theives

Wasn't that a Dodge Challenger?!?

Anyway, clearly the correct answer here is something with proper run-flat tyres and a st load of power....

Too slow, there are river police on the Thames. How about the Wellcraft SCARAB from Miami Vice, that’s got some grunt.

A Eurocopter 135 as used by quite a few police forces is good for about 160 mph, even F1 powerboats don't make quite that speed, although they will accelerate faster. I reckon you'd need an ekranoplan if you want to make a getaway over water.

Any car you want.

There's barely any police left and those that are on duty are busy at domestics or doing the job of a social worker or mental health worker.
