Hello, over two months ago I got flashed by a fixed roadside camera on the A28 toll road near Sees.
I was comfortably over the limit. Can the fine notification take this long to arrive? Or am I in the clear?
Thanks

Don't think the two countries have signed that particular agreement yet - I thought it was due in 2018.

I've had them come through 2-3 months after the event but only on Swiss plates. I'm not sure if they'll get you on UK plates yet or not.

According to this article it went live in May this year but as usual it's a one way deal! I thought our government pushed for an agreement to track the toll dodgers at Dartford Tunnel but I could be wrong

Sweet.
Every time I go over I accidentally do 100+mph near enough the whole time.
Same thing happens here a lot too, strangely.

I've never had a ticket from France, Spain or Portugal , this year we must have been flashed we'll over 50 times, the only you're fked is if they catch you there, or you're in a hire car!

Thanks for all the replies, looks like plenty of cause for cautious optimism!

You are chopping the throttle a lot, according to KC it's one of the SRs. Try to keep a steady speed.

Few years back we set off so many speed cameras we though it would be nice to write to the French authorities and ask for our holiday snaps.

Not sure what it's like now though.

I've set plenty off in German and on the Holland motorway network over the years wink
That was obviously before they could trace you formally like now.
Basically don't take the p*ss in France speeding wise!
Avoid Switzerland unless you can ride like an IAM observed ride everwhere too lol

My friend who runs the bike transport company does a European trip every few weeks and has had several come through from Germany at 30 euro a time , always sets some off in France but never anything from that part of the world..He ignores them all anyway...

Ive never had anything through from France myself despite setting many off but the last time I went was 2016.

Guys. Just received 2 speed violation notices from France October 2018. I’ve since sold the car I was using. 45 Euro fine for each offence. Should I pay or let it go away.

Anyone no the new rules. I’ve searched round the web and found a lot of conflicting results.

Thanks in advance

I don't feel a European trip is complete without setting off a few cameras, my favourite is the Rouen ring road tunnel, not heard from them yet, and I've been going since they put the cameras up.
