Check the Avgas/Alcohol/Angostura ratio.
The full formula is in the silver trinket box on Battert's mantelpiece.
And he always swears by fruit based alcohol. Again it's to do with his Failed Cider Experiment. Some of it was poured into the Brigadier's Rover for a lark and the blessed thing performed better for it.

Thanks old chap, we could well be getting premature detonation from an incorrect mixture. I'll ask Mrs Heigh-Stack if she could pick up the formula, we've done a small welding job for her and I believe she's visiting Battert shortly. The full formula is in the silver trinket box on Battert's mantelpiece.

Please send my regards to the Brigadier when you see him next. Marvellous old fellow, I remember the help he gave us launching the Milan missile during the Windmill Crisis.

My lovely wife announced tonight that we should leave at 4am on Saturday to "beat the rush hour traffic" around Birmingham, my response was "Well you go and sit in the car and I'll join you about 6ish!!!!"
Birmingham is known for tail to tail at 4.15am so watch out. I tried claiming superior intellect once and proposed marriage and look what happened. Bobberoo99 said:

Steady on there Bobbers. You going for some sort of record for how many people you can ps off in one day?
First good old YJ & now your Mrs B, not to be confused with Mrs Bomma or Mrs Battert obviously.
If you have upset the other Mrs B's I'd hate to be you trying to explain it to their respective spouses, I'm sure you know Bomma has trained that fking Pelican in close combat recently.
Falling out with YJ could end in tears too....... With his obvious military background he let slip today I'd say it's highly possible he knows more than the colour of the Boathouse doors in Hereford!!
Mind how you go chap.

ION I bowed out to YJ's superior knowledge of all things highway code related especially after he "let slip" about his military career and newly diagnosed mental issues, properly scared I was!!!!
Special Forces Trivia: #139
The knowledge of the colour of the boathouse door is an oft quoted urban myth.
In his formative years, Battert's uncle Seth was employed to paint it a different colour on alternate Tuesdays.
It varied in shades ranging from Mouseback to Terracotta.
Nobody will ever know for sure. Except him.
