Whose idea was the Armoured Trolley? You can't see what's inside. Dashed inconvenient. Battert saying they're nice and cost two pounds is totally inadequate. You might want a custard slice, pay your two pounds and be presented with a lit petard. What then? You're looking forward to a flaky pastry and confectioner's custard delicacy but instead you're given a few seconds to dispose of a fizzing IED. It might not be a bomb, of course. It might be all four of last month's Bakelite World. How can you tell? Did the Committee sanction it?
It was Battert's idea. The Abbot was originally destined for spare parts, he had a plan to get it running again. Frankly, I didn't think he'd manage it but there you go.

I'm not sure about the £2 / slice business though. I'm not sure where the proceeds of that are going.

You could well be right chap.

Penrose wants to know if that's your Bentley parked up by the Small Barn. He reckons he can see another Pelican near the front passenger door?

The rather nice Ox Blood S3? I believe its an old `friend` of Mrs Brassington`s, they are in the Orangery having a digestif at the moment.

Wish i`d thought of that after the Lardy Cake. Battert is using whats left to heat the pool for tomorrows Gala apparently, should burn until Boxing Day if we`re lucky!

Today I'm looking after my SIL's Labrador while my wife and SIL help their other sister (who designs stationary) with a wedding show in London.

Bobberoo away ok? Jolly good. Should be interesting when they get to the first distillery drink

Might give the Hot Dog Trolley (LSV) another run out later on. Seemed to go well yesterday. See if we can get a bit more fried onion on the hotplate.

We are now in Scotland!! We've just heard about the M3 closed in both directions, we passed the original incident, police, fire engines and ambulances around 4.45 this morning, they'd shut the South bound carriage way and we're redirecting traffic back off the motorway, of course Mrs Bobbers has already claimed we only missed it because she insisted on leaving early and that you ALL BACKED HER!!!! grumpy

I reckoned they should have gone on Wednesday. Would have been unconscious on the distillery floor by now.
