It was Battert's idea. The Abbot was originally destined for spare parts, he had a plan to get it running again. Frankly, I didn't think he'd manage it but there you go.I'm not sure about the £2 / slice business though. I'm not sure where the proceeds of that are going.

Wish i`d thought of that after the Lardy Cake. Battert is using whats left to heat the pool for tomorrows Gala apparently, should burn until Boxing Day if we`re lucky!
YAWN!!!!!! Well we're up, washed and the car is packed, bit stupid really should have got dressed after the washing bit, but I don't think anyone saw us, well apart from the nosey curtain twitched in No 5 but that'll teach her to peek at this time of the morning!!! We are suitably attired for the journey and since Mrs Bobbers is driving the first stint she's wearing the leather driving gauntlets and flying goggles!!! Tally ho chaps I shall of course keep you informed of our meanderings!!!

Personally I would have left earlier, the traffic can be a right nightmare

We are now in Scotland!! We've just heard about the M3 closed in both directions, we passed the original incident, police, fire engines and ambulances around 4.45 this morning, they'd shut the South bound carriage way and we're redirecting traffic back off the motorway, of course Mrs Bobbers has already claimed we only missed it because she insisted on leaving early and that you ALL BACKED HER!!!!
